Welcome to Bear Hugs Cabin, #Gatlinburg #Pigeon Forge! This beautiful log cabin is nestled in the quiet Sky Harbor area off of the parkway between Gatlinburg (8.5 Miles), Pigeon Forge (6.5 Miles) and Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community (3 Miles)!
As you leave the parkway making your way up into the mountains, you will find the winding, sometimes narrow and steep roads taking you up into a peaceful area of beautiful trees, nature and you might even see a black bear!
The space
After accessing the cabin via the key-less entry, you will find a beautiful fully equipped kitchen with an island for food prep, washer/dryer, and a vaulted ceiling in living room with fireplace and sofa queen bed. Each bedroom has a king size log bed frame and TV. Game room with air hockey and darts. High speed internet access and SMART TV’s for streaming. Picnic table outside.
Exit out the back door you will find the Hot Tub waiting for you to relax and enjoy the privacy and peace of the surroundings. Then you can use the gas grill to cook your favorite meal!

Mountain Roads:
Please be mindful that you are renting a cabin in the mountains. Most roads in our area are well maintained but will be curvy, steep and narrow due to being located in the mountains. There are no streetlights on mountain roads. These are private roads, so we cannot guarantee any road surface condition. No changes or refunds are given due to fear of condition of roads.
Snow tire chains and/or 4-wheel drive vehicles are highly encouraged during winter months in the event of inclement weather.
We cannot control the weather and no refunds will be given due to weather conditions, so we recommend the purchase of Travel Insurance for all planned vacations. Travel Insurance will protect your Investment in the event of a weather event that would make roads impassable to vehicles with 4WD and/or chains.

Cabin comes with linens, quilts, kitchen dishes, pots & pans, utensils, Keurig coffee machine, trash bags.
Bears do visit from time to the in the beautiful wooded area, be sure to not leave food in vehicles or outdoors. Keep vehicle doors locked and cabin doors closed (bears are very smart). Use the metal trash container located just outside the cabin that is secured.
Small children? Please be sure to keep close watch of your children when outdoors due to the wildlife in the mountains. Also, keep them from hot surfaces in the kitchen, fireplace in the living room and other common things to be cautious with children.
Being out in the country you can expect insects such as lady bugs, carpenter bees and etc... You might even see wood peckers, raccoons and other wildlife!
