Hello Cindy, Thank you for your kind review! We're so happy to hear you enjoyed a relaxing stay at the Mackenzie House! We hope you will consider us for a future Revelstoke stay! - Revelstoke Vacations
This house is in the most convenient and quiet part of downtown. The beds are all king or queen beds in spacious bedrooms. The kitchen is huge with a large island and great appliances. The entryway is large and is perfect for a group. Such a treat to have the hot tub on the deck. The house was super clean as well.

Hi Karen, Thank you for your kind review. We are so thrilled to hear you enjoyed your stay at the Mackenzie House in Revelstoke! We hope to welcome you back in the future! - Revelstoke Vacation Rentals
We booked this home with 3 other couples as a kid-free getaway at the end of summer. We had an absolutely fantastic experience, and loved the central location! We could walk to dinner in the evening, and driving to Revelstoke Mountain Resort only took 10 minutes. The house has all the amenities we needed; we were able to watch the Canucks lose their spot in the play-offs, play some rousing games of foosball, sit together for lunches and we hung out on the front porch for coffee in the morning. The master suite was incredible. I think the only complaint was having to share one main floor bathroom amongst 6 adults ;) It is on a fairly busy main street, so be prepared for traffic noise. We enjoy sleeping with our window open, so just used a white noise app on our cell phone to drown out the road sounds. We would come back here in a heart beat!

Hi Jete,
Thanks for taking the time to post your review! Kid-free getaways can be very well needed after a fun-filled summer with them! We are happy you enjoyed the foosball table (probably need a distraction from the Canucks loss, am I right?), front porch and the fantastic master bedroom. With regards to the road traffic, they are doing some roadworks forcing traffic to detour, so that would account for some of the noise you may have experienced. Unfortunately, this also comes from being well-situated in downtown Revy. In any case, we would love to welcome you back anytime!
