Is there anything better than a quiet sunrise on an oceanfront balcony and a day of relaxation stretching out ahead of you, as wide and empty as the beach itself? Definitely not. But the Atlantic sunrises are just one reason to love Rolling Waves, our 3-bedroom oceanfront Indian Beach condo on North Carolina's glorious Crystal Coast.

Other reasons include:

It's family-friendly! Colorful and fun inside, the condo also has beach gear like sand toys for the littlest guests, boogie boards for the teens and tweens (they'll appreciate the WiFi, too), and beach chairs for you and that novel you've been waiting to read.

Bedrooms include a master suite with king bed and en-suite bath, a 2nd bedroom with a twin-over-full with twin trundle bunkbed, and a 3rd bedroom with a queen bed (these two bedrooms share a bath). Perfect for parents, grandparents and kiddos on a getaway together. It's also friend-friendly—great for two couples or girls weekends and golf outings.

The views! So good they deserve a second mention. Not only do you get the oceanfront vantage point of the Atlantic from the balcony and living area, you also have a view of the Bogue Inlet Sound from the master bedroom. Head to the sound side of the complex and have a drink with fellow vacationers as you watch the sun sink into the Inlet!

The kitchen is set up for real cooking. With stainless appliances (including double ovens and a beverage cooler to free up fridge space), and well-stocked cabinets, you can easily prep meals for the group. But no judgement if you prefer not to cook on vacation. We're just minutes from some delicious seafood restaurants, and the kitchen is equally great for heating up leftovers. :)

Our awesome condo resort, The Ocean Club (one of the top-rated in North Carolina). An elevator whisks you to our second-floor, 1150-square-foot condo. Other amenities include a fitness center, boardwalk access to the beach, and 2 heated, outdoor swimming pools.

There are many ways to enjoy our coastal location here between the ocean and the sound in southern North Carolina. Beautiful spot on Emerald Isle

Loved this property - we traveled with our girls (8,6 and 4 years old) - very easy to unload our things and quick proximity to the pool and quick beach access. The waterfront view from the balcony was beautiful. Many restaurants close by and the condo was very well stocked, very clean and the owners were great to communicate with. We hope to return someday - thanks for the wonderful stay!

Perfect location!

A perfect ocean side condo. Very comfortable. Close walk to the beach and pool. This unit is right next to the elevator as well. The ocean view is perfect. The beach was fairly quiet while we were there which was lovely. A great location overall, close to restaurants and shops, and just a short drive into Beaufort. Thanks for a great stay!

Can’t say enough nice things. We really enjoyed our long weekend. Such cute and fun beach decor. Well stocked kitchen. Best part is the view. It hits you when you walk in the door. Oceanfront balcony with very comfortable and cute seating to enjoy the view. We would love to come back soon.

I needed to book a new place at the beach to extend my time away. This was the perfect place to do it. I was skeptical of the apartment style condos at first but the place looked great online, so I gave it a shot. I was not disappointed. It was great for me solo and would’ve been so for friends and family had they come with me. Communication with the owners was very easy and pleasant. Would recommend it to anyone and I plan on staying again in the future.

Beautiful condo

The condo was beautiful although we had some issues. The fridge doesn't have an ice maker so we had to get ice. We were going to bake French fries and make hamburgers but the oven wouldn't work. We decided we would make spaghetti then but the stove top wouldn't work either. We did find a griddle and made burgers in the end but nothing to go with them since the stove was completely broken. My son is 6ft3in and he was able to see straight into the top cabinets. Previous renter had left a mess of spilled cereal and it was never cleaned up. The bedrooms all have TV which is nice but the remote for one of the rooms doesn't work. It apparently needed batteries. The elevator quit working during our stay so it was a lot of trips up four flights of stairs to load everything back up to leave. We were under the impression that the pool area was open year round but when we went to use the hot tub, it was closed. The condo itself is gorgeous and the proximity to the beach is perfect. I know things happen so I would go back but I think we should have been told up front that the fridge did not have a working ice maker. We spent an hour round trip our first night there trying to find someplace open to get ice.

The Perfect Place to Stay at the Beach!

We couldn't ask for more for an amazing beach vacation. The condo was decorated beautifully, was well appointed with everything we needed and was extremely clean and well maintained (and I'm very picky). The views were gorgeous. We very much enjoyed sitting on the deck each morning drinking our coffee and listening to the ocean. We felt tucked away but close to everything. The owners, Greg & Laura, responded quickly to any questions we had. Communication through email provided us with all the information we needed for our trip. We loved our visit to Indian Beach and Emerald Isle and can't wait to go back. We plan to book again and are so happy we found this place. It really was the perfect place to stay at the beach!

Relaxing Stay

This condo was in a perfect location with a beautiful ocean view for our family’s beach vacation. It was close to both Emerald Isle and Beaufort. The view was perfect each morning and to end each day. We saw dolphins from the balcony, and you could hear the sound of the waves even with the doors closed. Wonderful stay!

We had such a great 6 days. We'll be back!Big pluses: So thankful for an elevator! Very convenient anyone who has lower immobility. Greg's communication is over-and-above great. The pool was closed for repairs, but Greg let us know ahead of time and we spent every day in the hot pool anyway. Fantastic kitchen supplies - everything you could ever need. The porch is so lovely with a wide ocean view. Easy parking. Perfect for couples, families, and long or short getaways. Minor minuses: The mattresses and pillows aren't great. The kitchen chairs could use comfortable chair pads. But, overall, we were very happy and had a lovely time. We're already planning on coming back next year.

We reside and work in the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina having both been raised outside of North Carolina. We have been married for 11 years and with each passing year continue to write our story. We are now a family of 5 with our daughter and 2 mini goldendoodles.

Why they chose this property

We have always loved spending time at the beach. Our journey started out with the exploration of the lighthouses of North Carolina which lead to our discovery of Atlantic Beach and Emerald Isle. From the first time seeing the emerald colored waters we knew this area was a hidden treasure. We made several return trips with friends and family and ultimately decided this would be a great place to own a condo. It didn't take long before we found this condo which from the moment we walked in felt like we were home.

What makes this property unique

Rest and relaxation come easy as you experience the picturesque views and bright light that greet you from the moment you enter the front door. There is something to do for everyone whether you want to spend your day on the beach or enjoy the centralized location with ease of access to a variety of activities and wonderful restaurants. We find something new every time we visit.
