review of Les Caraibes

the apartment itself was very spacious and comfortable, and kept in good condition, but the property overall was run down, and a bit sad; the pool a big nothing, and the beach a bit uninviting. It was quiet--no one except one tenant seemed to be present. Location about 15 minutes away from the village is fine if you have a car or bike. The listing is, therefore, overpriced.

Pictures can lie

This listings pictures have to be from like 10 years ago as the building has seen better days. I have updated ones but there is now way to upload. The place itself was ok. Really limited in dishes and silverware. The washer and dryer is so close to the toilet that if you are elderly or a bit huskier you may not be able to use it. I am 5’10” 170 pounds and found it cramped. The beautiful dock in the photos is covered with layers of bird poop and I mean is is a solid white and maybe a half inch thick around the perimeter …. where it can’t be sanitary to be on. We walked on the beach and saw other docks without the poop. Soooo gross and disappointing. The wifi did not work because they changed the password locally and did not communicate to the main office. I was hoping to work a bit while we were down there and we were without internet for 3 days. Everyone was nice on the phone but because this is owned by a big company it took days for this to get fixed. This place is also about 20 feet from the main highway and only road into and out of town so there is a fair amount of road noise inside and outside. I would have given it 3 stars (this is not a five star property) if they had been able to check us in better, as communication was bad, had more accurate pictures of where the washer/dryer were and the condition of the building and for the love of god clean the poop off the dock.

Les carribes experience easter 2021

Britney Flowers here we really enjoyed our stay at Les Caraibes. It was perfectly located we loved the fact that the beach was private it was more than enough space for my little family.. Will definitely stay here again sometime soon.
