You will love the romantic charm of Hightower Haven. It is the perfect mountain getaway! Slip away from reality with a trip to our cottage located in a valley with beautiful views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. You will be reminded of a simpler time when life was lived at a slower pace while enjoying all of today's amenities.
The cottage sleeps 4 adults comfortably with queen beds in both bedrooms and 1 full bath. Relax in the rocking chairs on the front porch or listen to the mountain stream while you unwind on the back deck. You will find the kitchen fully equipped, as well as a gas grill outside, outdoor dining area and fire pit. Enjoy all the conveniences of home including high-speed wifi, 2 satellite televisions and washer/dryer.
Hightower Haven is approximately 15 minutes from downtown Hiawassee, 25 minutes to Clayton, and 30 minutes to Helen. Nearby attractions include Lake Chatuge, Lake Burton, hiking (5 minutes from the Appalachian Trail), biking, waterfalls, fishing, wine tasting at local vineyards (Hightower Creek Vineyards 2.6mi), antique shopping, Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds, Bell Mountain, Bald Mountain, and a short drive to Harrah's Cherokee Valley River Casino (35mi) in Murphy, NC.

I grew up on Upper Hightower, so it has always been home to me. When we had first dibs on buying this little house, I jumped on the chance to own a little piece of Hightower again. Family and neighbors are still close by so I still feel like I'm home each time I go to what we now call, The Cottage~Hightower Haven
Randy and I did all the work ourselves and keep adding to the outdoors to make it more special with all our guest in mind

Why they chose this property
The cottage has recently been completely remodeled, we think you will enjoy the way it is decorated inside and out. You can sit on the porch, sit at the outdoor table or fire pit and listen to the small creek that runs beside the house. We think you will enjoy the way it's nestled in the valley with mountains surrounding it. We really want it to be a little haven for all our guest to enjoy.
