We envite you to enjoy your own private oasis by the beach. Cozy Studio with ideal location, quiet residential neighborhood. Beach and surfing just 2 1/2 blocks away. Restaurants, Bars, Coffee Shops, within walking distance. Full kitchen. Private entrance and lovely fenced patio area in back, surrounded by bamboo, jasmine and honeysuckle. Biking distance to downtown LaJolla and Mission Bay. Well behaved pets are welcome. There is no extra pet fee. Parking for 2 cars in driveway under canopy. Everything you need to enjoy the beach life provided; two bikes, beach chairs, towels, and boogie boards. Chips, Salsa and ingredients for 2 welcome margaritas in your room on arrival.

This is our third year in a row staying here! My granddaughters and I just love it! They look forward to it every year for their birthdays! Check-in is easy, the place is always clean and so charming. The little patio and outdoor shower are a big plus. And having a parking space is a huge win not to mention the beach being just a few blocks away! We love it! See ya again next year!

Perfect for a weekend getaway

Host is very kind and very responsive. It is a cute and cozy boho for a couple. Reserved covered parking for 1 car which is important as there are many homes with street parking only. Close to the beach and restaurants in walking distance. Couldn’t be happier.

Great Spot

Had a great stay at the Tourmaline Beach Studio. It's a perfect spot in a great part of town, close to the beach and local restaurants. The beach cruisers were a great perk as the boardwalk is only a few blocks away. Will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in town. It's a great place for a single person or couple.

Great studio and location

The studio was clean, stocked, and well suited for our quick trip to the beach with two toddlers. Great location with a quick walk to restaurants/cafes and the beach. We especially enjoyed the back patio.

Weekend getaway

We stayed for two nights and loved the studio. We rode bikes to the beach multiple times and also walked, the location was perfect. The studio was quiet, clean and comfy and the margaritas and chips were a nice touch. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Annual vacay

We vacation every year in San Diego. This is our second stay at the tourmaline beach studio and we loved it just as much this year as last. It is the perfect walking distance to Tourmo. Alisa is always great with making sure everything we need for our stay is available. We are already looking forward to our stay in 2025!

Was an absolute fantastic stay, wish I could’ve stayed longer. Such a cute outhouse, lot of privacy, great location to beach and 30 bus to downtown/La Jolla. Will be back anytime I’m in San Diego.

Lovely studio by the beach

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. We spent a lot of time in the private courtyard when we weren't at the beach or exploring many of the other great things to do near the rental. Parking was convenient, and there are lots of restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice stay

We needed a place for a nice and relaxing rest for one night and this place was just that. We enjoyed the welcome margaritas in the quaint backyard upon arrival. It felt private which we appreciated. There were decent restaurants and coffee shops walking distance and the beach was a quick easy walk as well. Thanks for a nice stay!

Exactly as advertised. A 5-7 minute walk down to the beach which was nice post-activities for the day. Plenty of restaurants (and laundry) within a 5 minute walk of the house.

Great location and unit

The property was a perfect get-away. Loved being able to walk to restaurants. I didn’t get a chance to use the outdoor shower but the indoor wood shower was great and gave a spa-like feeling. The backyard felt like an oasis. Highly recommend and would stay here again!
