After owning a nice cottage on the north side of Lake June for 15 years, we decided to significantly upgrade by purchasing this much larger and nicer home on the south side of the same beautiful lake. The phrase “walk-in and WOW” describes what happens to everyone who walks in the front door and beholds the beauty of the lake through the massive wall of windows. They walk in and immediately exclaim “WOW”!!
This house was designed with the lake view in mind from start to finish. The large beautifully decorated living area has a new sectional, four seats of which have electric reclining features.
The open concept kitchen is stocked with every conceivable high quality amenity from wine cooler to air fryer. The very large master has a massive en suite and large walk in closet. The master tub has turbo jets and the open shower has dual shower heads. We just upgraded to new quartz counter tops, new sinks, and LED lights over the vanities.
The two additional bedrooms each have queen beds, plus bunk beds with a full bed on the bottom, and a twin on top. These bedrooms share a large newly upgraded bathroom.
And then there’s another unique feature, the loft! With 2 Corduroy beanbag type chairs that convert into a queen bed, plus a futon, you can turn that game room with an incredible view into a sleeping area in a few moments.
Another premium feature of this home is the 14 x 68 screened porch with newly added fire table for beauty and warmth on cool evenings. With lots of seating areas both inside and outside, all are insured an enjoyable time no matter what the weather may bring.
Recently we added a sand beach area both above and below the seawall to enhance your fun-time activity area. There are also FOUR swings on the property (aside from the three on the dock), two for smaller children, and two that adults (and younger) can use. We also provide Adirondack-style chairs for outside, along with two loungers (see photos).
And then there’s the dock! Not all lakes, and not all docks are created equal! Definitely one of the largest and most comfortable docks on the best lake in Highlands county. Complete with a twin bed sized swing, plus two other swings, chairs, table, and lounge chairs, you can entertain all of your friends and family with no problem. And kids of all ages will love the rope swing and water volleyball area.
The dock also has a large cabinet with refrigerator so you can keep your beverages cool and easily available. Three fans on the dock keep you comfortable if the wind isn’t good enough.
You may bring your own boat or wave runner and tie off to the dock and hitching post in designated area.
Owner's boats are not available to tenants except kayaks. There are a total of 6 kayaks, including two specifically for smaller children.
Home has security system. Non-smoking property.
Small, house-trained, non-shedding dog MAY be permitted, but you must first speak with owner to confirm details. Extra fee applies.
No need to hassle with keys and the risk of losing one. We have electronic deadbolt so all you need is the code and access is easy.
VRBO does not permit owner and tenant to speak before confirming rental. However, because this is not just a sterile rental property, but a home we spend a great deal of time in ourselves, we are very particular about ensuring that anyone who wants to rent is highly responsible and will take excellent care of the property. So, after a rental is confirmed through VRBO and I have access to your phone number, I will contact you in order to discuss the rental, provide additional information, and answer any questions you may have.

**COVID-19 NOTICE** This house is being fully disinfected after each use. Your health and safety (and ours, as we are here so much) is our top priority. For this reason, we do not have same day check-out and check-in. Therefore, even if the website shows that you may reserve on the evening that someone else is checking out, that will not be permitted to insure 24 hours and thorough cleaning between tenants.
