Wonderful vstay

Condo was well appointed. It had pack and play , child car seat, pool toys, 2 small trikes to keep our grandchildren comfy and happy. Kitchen was well stocked with knifes, plates, blender and rice cooker. There was even an air mattress. Issues that came up ,like ice maker, TV cable,were promptly addressed. We like the fact that there were solar panels too. One of the pools were right in front of the condo. It could be a slight negative for the other people voices heard from the pool, or it is a positive withe easy proximity for getting stuff from the pool to the condo. Overall, a very satisfying stay.

Think no further.

A vacation home you've always dreamt of!! After your first footstep into this townhome, your vacation begins. This is a GEM of a find, a 5 star rating for sure! Do not be skeptic of this private rental. Owners are true to their every word and the most pleasant to deal with. The decor and the little details that have gone into this unit is well thought out. From the high thread count bedsheets (wow) down to the hotel size shampoo. You need nothing else than to arrange your booking. Bedrooms are spacious, kitchen is fully equipped and the living room area is not to be out done by it's HD flatscreen. (Actually there are tv's in every room with a satellite connection to them all.) The pool is no farther than a crawl away from the patio door. This making BBQ's a snap. Shops are a 10min drive from this centralized stay. The closet lagoon is about a slow 10 min walk away. Restuarants, golf courses and the island's Luau surround this area. The owners could not of done anything more. As guests we were only so lucky to find this place that we had to think of something to leave behind for the others to follow. We thought of this place as our own. We hope to return in the future. So please , take care of our 2nd home. Be back soon!

Great location

The location cannot be beat! Although our stay started with us cleaning about 8 hours of “deeper” cleaning like sliding door curtains with major food stains, bathroom and kitchen rugs (you could feel the grossness on your feet), grime on stair banisters and some blood stains on a door (so we cleaned all the doors) and cleaned water stains and dust on blinds then organized the cabinets . Once we did that we felt like we could move forward! The walls still could use a good wipe down and a fresh coat of paint. We were 2 hours delayed to check in due to a late check out and cleaners were I’m sure doing their best with a few hours between a check out and check in which did not give us the 24 hour covid promise between guests. Staff, however, was super great to work with and did get us whatever we needed. We did buy an electric pancake griddle and left it for those to follow. The condo has a wagon, 4 chairs, toys, beach sand toys, umbrellas, etc. those were great to have. There is a pack n play and sheet. We discovered the two twin beds can be strapped together for a king snd that was great! The condo pools. Just know that no kids or adult floaties can be used. You cannot jump in the pool. They have cameras and will come and talk to you. They are beautiful pools and very well maintained. Our grands loved the bigger pool with the sand entrance. We just had to remind them to not jump in which is fine. We really enjoyed our stay! We hope those that stayed after us enjoy our extra cleaning 😀

Overall it is a very nice condo and convenient to everything we wanted to do. If I have opportunity in the future, I would stay here again. Owner and property management were very cooperative. There are several items within the condo requiring attention. The owner is aware.

A Wonderful Month at Ko'Olina

The unit was just what we needed. I would give this property 4 1/2 stars if I could figure out how. Loved the location next to the Lagoon Pool. Suggest shower walls and sinks be cleaned and rust around the faucets removed. The cold faucet on the left in the master bath keeps running if you turn it off all the way. We bought a new griddle (pans and griddle were warped and we could not make pancakes) and left it in the unit. Thanks for the little red wagon to haul items to the beach. There were only three very old beach towels so we bought our own. We could have used more instruction on how to use the Smart TV.

We stayed in Thu’s condo for 3 months and enjoyed our stay very much. The condo is in the perfect location, close to the quiet pool/jacuzzi! She has very recently updated the appliances and some furniture. Condo was comfortable and had everything we needed. Paradise with a great pool view.

We stayed at Thu's condo for the month of November. The weather was the best we have ever had in Hawaii. The condo was generously large and very clean. The view of the pool from the balcony was great, just like in the pictures. The location to everything in Ko Olina is one of the outstanding features because everything is within walking distance. Coconut Plantation's grounds are very well kept and the maintenance guys do a great job. Two car garage in definitely a plus. We will return in the future. One thing the condo could use is a new stove.

Ideal location for families

We had a fantastic time here. Plenty of room, our king bed was amazing, 2 pools/ 3 hot tubs for our 3 year old, nestled away from the businesses but close for walking to the beach/ restaurant/abc store.(No nightlife like Waikiki ;) Totally fine with us, as we were on a family trip!) There are also some toys & snorkels, a couple chairs & boogie boards, etc- check out the box in garage before buying any beach toys! The managers were also very helpful in getting us an extra set of keys due to our situation. There is a workout center that you can buy a card to (keep it for if you come back) & they have an assortment of classes that we made use of- yoga, paddle boarding, SUP yoga, rolling, etc. Like someone else noted, we give this property a thumbs up, but wish to hide it away so we can return soon & have it available :) Loved it, & plan to be back!

Gorgeous Coconut Plantation Condo!

After discovering Ko Olina and staying at another condo property, our family wanted to try to stay in Coconut Plantation. We were delighted to find Thu's condo as an affordable property and have stayed there three times already - looking forward to going back again in the near future! The condo is beautiful and is exactly what is advertised - and it is in a great location near the pool. Being an end unit, it is great to have two lanais. We found the property to be clean and well-maintained. It is conveniently located to walk to a shopping area with many restaurants - The Monkeypod being our favorite! - and as well as to the lagoons. It is also in an easy area to access to the highway, as we often opted to go to other beaches or go sightseeing. Any maintainence problems were easily resolved by Len and Lynn who were easy to reach and answered quickly. We would highly recommend this condo property to family and friends - but we also want it to be available to us whenever we can return! It is a lovely 'home away from home '!

We spent two winters in it and loved it

We spent three months in this Coconut Plantation property, Jan-Mar 2018, and previously spend the winter months there in 2017. Heck, had it not already been rented, we would’ve again spent the same three months in 2019. Everything works, TV, internet, washers, dryers, refrigerators, vacuum, kitchen stuff, etc. We have never had to call for maintenance or for a problem. It's also close to, but a world away from major retail in Kapolei, important to us because we're living there for months. We only used the master bedroom and the bed was terrific. However, my sister and husband visited and said the middle bedroom was also comfortable. We don’t care for air conditioning, and only had to turn it on a twice in three months. With windows on three sides, the house is positioned to get maximum benefit from the trade winds. The health club membership that comes with the rental is well worth it. While we didn’t use the gym, we regularly took a plethora of yoga, tai chi, hula, paddleboard, etc., classes each week. They’re all included. Most are at the Lagoons. We sometimes had to stop the late afternoon yoga classes because someone would spot the whales playing off the coast. You only pay $25 for a membership access card, and if you return the next year, keep the card; it only costs 15 to renew it.

We already contracted for next year

We thoroughly enjoyed this rental. The owner has a positive, constructive approach to her guests. Heck, we’ve already contracted for next winter. We’re a retired couple about 70. We spend the winter in Hawaii, so we’re living here vs full-on vacationing. (We keep our bikes and Hawaii stuff in a storage rental.) The pictures are accurate. Everything worked fine. We only used the master bedroom, but we both agreed (rare event) the bed was super comfortable. The pool is very convenient, especially if you have children. The Coconut Plantation, where the rental is located, is quiet with minimal traffic. Disney and other resorts are across the street, and their lagoons make vacation life or our life very easy. Since we’re living here, nearby (10-minute drive) is extensive retail in Kapolei, Costco, TJ, Target, Walmart, Ross, etc., and we’re very happy with Loft Yoga (Kapolei) and its variety of Yoga classes and other Yoga classes M-W-F at 8:30AM in the Plantation area referred to as the hammock section, a bunch of Palm trees that look situated for hammocks. Since we spend a lot of time in Hawaii, the community’s extraordinarily effective pest control surprised and delighted us.

Our family was very please with this condo. It was well maintained, equipped and a very beautiful, quiet location. We can not say enough about the great location. Every evening after a busy day of sightseeing we enjoyed stepping out our patio doors to head for a swim and a soak in the hot tub. We also found the BBQ very handy. Our family made great use of the cooler, beach chairs and other beach item in the garage. Having the ABC store just blocks away was great for those days you ran out of bread or eggs. Also in walking distance was the Paradise Cove Luau which was fantastic . A great holiday.

fantastic place to stay.

We have just had a holiday of a lifetime, made complete with the gorgeous and immaculate surroundings of the resort. The condo was very well presented, it has everything you would require, and a fantastic place to relax at the end of the day having been out exploring this fabulous island. The locationof the condo is probably the best in the resort with a swimming pool just outside the condo, which was never noisy or crowded, which our girls loved to swim early in the morning or at the end of the day. The 2 lanai`s were very relaxing, and great places for eating outside. All in all a fantastic resort and condo to stay at, could not have hoped for anything better. The owner is very friendly,helpful and quick to respond to any questions you have. There are lovely 4 lagoons within walking distance and also Paradise cove which we swam when there was a Turtle in the water also on another day a Seal swam in there. We did hire a car for the time we were there, and it is the perfect location away from the more hustle and bustle of Honolulu to explore the island, but even if you do not hire a car it`s still such a relaxing location, with still lots to do. I cannot fault this condo/resort and would have no doubt`s in recommending this condo/location to anyone, and would love to come back in the future.

Very nice and very affordable!

This unit was a great fit for our family vacation. We had 3 adults and 4 teenagers (17, 14, 14 and 14) in our party and this condo met all of our needs very well. The unit itself was very clean, spacious and well outfitted. The beds and bedding were exactly as advertised (very comfortable), the kitchen is well equipped and made meal preparations very easy. The two lanais are very nice. The lower one is right off the living/dining rooms, which make meals outside very convenient, and the upper lanai off the master suite is perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktails and relaxation overlooking the pool. The bedrooms are all very nice, spacious and comfortable. The master suite is nothing short of fantastic! The unit does not have its own BBQ, but the extremely close proximity to the BBQ at the pool made up for not having one on the lanai. The owner provides a nice array of coolers, beach chairs, beach towels and beach toys that will fit any family or group using this unit. This unit is truly only a 10 minute walk to Lagoon #1 at Ko Olina, and there is a nice variety of shops and restaurants on the way to the Lagoon. Several of the neighbors are permanent residents, and they were all very friendly and made us and our children feel right at home. The owner obviously takes a lot of pride in the decor and upkeep of this unit. She is very quick to respond to emails and questions, is very thorough in all business aspects of the rental procedure, and has chosen very good people to quickly and efficiently take care of any and all issues that may arise. We requested a mid-stay cleaning as our parents are using this unit for the last half of the month, and both the owner and the house cleaner were very agreeable and easy to work with. My wife and I have stayed in Coconut Plantation before, in a different unit, but we would definitely stay at this unit again and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay that is NOT in Honolulu.

Superb unit

We were traveling 2 adults and 3 children visiting Hawaii where my brother and his family lives. The unit is spacious and could easily accommodate us even when my parents visited us. Everything is well kept, and the couple of things that did not work upon our arrival were fixed during our stay. The lanai is great. We ate most of our meals there. Even though the main pool by the entrance to Coconut Plantation was out for maintenance most of our stay the pool next to the unit was not crowded, and it was great for the kids. The unit is only around 10-15 minutes from the Ko Olina lagoons. Lagoon 2 offers good snorkeling which was great, and the kids could find various things for playing on the beach and the water in the garage. The owner, is very responsive in answering any questions or concerns we had prior to and during our stay, and you really feel in god hands. We would definitely stay here again, and would recommend the unit to anyone.

Excellent Place

This condo was absolutely amazing and fit our needs to a "T". Owner was quick, efficient and polite to deal with. Response time to emails were easily within a day, often hours. We used this condo as a base for commuting into Honolulu for a convention, and then later to explore all areas of Oahu. The location close to the Highway was excellent and was definitely the best side of the island to commute from, as traffic into the city is always a bottleneck. Property was clean and well equipped, only thing missing was a teapot which we purchased and left for future use!! Location next to the pool was ideal and we were never bothered by loud partiers using the pool, pool was well maintained and sparkling clean at all times. We used the communal bar-be-que a few times and again it was clean, well maintained with guests respecting each others privacy. Owners recommendations for car rental, restaurants, golf and tours were followed up with and we found all of them value for money. We would highly recommend this property and will definitely return to it ourselves in the near future.

Beautiful unit right next to pool!!

We had a wonderful time in Thu's condo. It was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. The best part for us was that the lanai overlooked the pool. It was very easy to split time between the pool and the condo. Some could be swimming while others eating or just relaxing at the condo while never feeling separated. Would most definitely stay here again!

Stay in Coconut Plantation

We had a wonderful one month stay at this condo. The condo is fully equipped, even had two blenders and a rice cooker! Also having a tv in each rom allowed everyone to escape sometimes! We travelled with a 10month old and a 3 year old. The pools were great and clean. Nice to be able to walk to the restaurants close by (The Mexican one is delicious!) and to get ice cream! You will need a car to get into the nearest town for goroceries and supplies but it is a lovely short drive! Thanks for all the beach stuff in the garage - we made good use of it. Would defintely stay here again.

best equipped unit

We stayed at Thu's place at the coconut plantation. There were 6 of us all together My husband, myself and our two adult children and their spouses. We were very happy with the condo, as it had plenty of space and privacy for us all. It is one of the best equipped units we have seen. It is well setup up for small children (we are expecting our 1st grandchild so we will return to this unit). I loved being so close to the pool and we did discover an adult only hot tub, which was nice. We were walking distance to everything. We saw Whales on Christmas Day! Right from the beach by the condo! I want to make mention that Thu was always available to help us out and housekeeping was only a call away! We also had access to the concierge at the Ko Olina Villas, this proved to be very helpful! And much to our embarrassment we locked our keys in the garage and had to call for help. They were there in 30 minutes to help us out! We had a couple of small details that needed attention and Thu had someone looking after us immediately! I highly recommend staying here, you will be well looked after! I have already recommended this location and unit.
