Amazing Condo at the Base of the Ski Mountain


Newly renovated fall of 2024 This 2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom Condo is perfect for enjoying all seasons in Steamboat. Located in The West Condos, the location is absolutely perfect for adult groups or families with children. You can walk to the base of the ski mountain in a few minutes, its closer than the knoll ski parking lot at the base of the mountain. Sit on your couch at night and watch the Fireworks at the base of Steamboat on the weekends or go grab food and drinks at the base of the mountain just a short walk away. The transit center at the base of the mountain is also about a 2 min walk which you can ride the free city buses downtown, to the grocery store, etc. The location is super convenient and very close to the base and lifts.

The Condo is newly furnished and updated. There is a King Bed in one of the bedrooms, the second bedroom has a Queen Bed and there is a Queen Sofa Sleeper with a memory foam mattress additional 2" mattress pad for added comfort.

THIER ARE STAIRS IN THE UNIT: The Bedrooms are on the upper level and the Kitchen and Living Room are on the lower level, so there are stairs in the unit.

Both bedrooms have their own flat screen TV. The kitchen and living room area is an open floor plan with a eat in bar top as well as a kitchen table that seats 6. The living room has a new Samsung 55" TV and sound bar for you to enjoy, sit down and relax after a long day of activities. The Condo has wireless internet and cable TV as well.

There is a washing machine and dryer in the unit.

There is a outdoor heated pool and 2 hot tubs just steps from your door. The unit has 2 parking passes for guests as well that is outdoor, so no height restrictions your vehicles.

My wife and I have other rentals in Steamboat and live in town. We take a lot of pride in our rental units and take the extra time and care to make sure everything in the unit is right and your stay is amazing.

Great location!!! Easy walk to the Steamboat Gondola, restaurants and rental equipment. The condo has been newly renovated and was very clean. You can enjoy the view of the ski slopes from the living room. We had a fantastic week!

Perfect Basecamp for Family of 4

Great property. Short walk to the gondola square and the steamboat busses. Our kids enjoyed the community hot tub and swimming pool. We loved it so much, we booked it for next year before we left.

Good place but things

The beds could use updating as they offer no support. None of the Direct TVs worked but we could stream on only 1 of them. The support information was very limited. If TVs don't work call support which is what everyone on vacation wants to do with their time. The kitchen faucet wobbled in its housing. My suggestion would be to check out the amenities and shape to the unit before having guests stay.

Place was great as well as the owners.

Perfect location, walk to the base of the gondola. I didn’t print out my info before coming and had a few questions that had been covered in that info. The owners were always quick to respond to any of my questions. We had a great time and everything we needed was provided. We did only have one car and it would have been a little tough if we had brought 2. But there was a big music fest going on so that could have had do with it. All and all a great place to stay, will stay there again if we get the chance.

Location is key!

Location, location, location! If location is important to you and you are not interested in riding a crowded bus with all your ski gear, stay here. We walked to the ski lifts. If you want to go grocery shopping or out to eat/shopping in town, the buses are less than 100 yards away and come every 15-20 minutes. My son and his girlfriend went back to the condo for lunch because it is that convenient. Condo was clean and well stocked with the basics. Beds were unbelievably comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. Washer and dryer were a nice convenience. Decor and fire place were very nice. The view of the mountain from the condo was spectacular. My college age children used the hot tub and enjoyed it. This condo would be good for tweens and teens also because they can come and go easily without much thought or concern; the area is safe. I don’t know what else I can rave about except the hosts who were very very responsive and accommodating. Texts were returned promptly. We asked if a Christmas tree could be provided since we were skiing over Christmas, and they happily set one up with lights and ornaments! Exceptional location, hosts and condo. Can’t go wrong staying here.

It was our second time here. You can’t beat the location. It’s an easy walk to the base. My kids love the pool and hot tubs. The renovations since our last visit were a nice surprise.
