About this property

Bougainvillea Beach House

Located on desirable Gulf Boulevard, this breezy Key West style beach house offers wide views of the beach from the private balcony. A porch swing and rocking chairs make it the perfect place to relax after beach time.  Beach access is directly across the street.

This beach house consists of two upstairs vacation units, each with a private balcony.

Inside, the house is richly finished with marble floors, granite counters, and plush, upscale furnishings.  A television is in every bedroom, as well as the den.  The kitchen is fully equipped.  The unit is equipped with a washer and dryer.  All linens are provided.

Conveniently located in the center of South Padre Island, it is walking distance to outdoor entertainment (great for teens), restaurants, and even the island grocery store.  Across the street is the shuttle stop for the FREE  Island shuttle (another teen favorite).

Four guests can sleep comfortably as shown.  Well-behaved pets are accepted. We are dog lovers!

Provided are beach chairs, beach umbrellas, beach towels, sand toys, boogie boards, and more. Downstairs is an outdoor shower to rinse sand after beach time.

Want to fish? Our guests receive a discount on private bay fishing in the Laguna Madre.

Great experience! The location is phenomenal and right across the street from the beach! The house has literally everything - the kitchen is great, the house is spacious with everything you need and very quiet. Other than your clothes, you don’t need to bring anything!! Everything is provided - including all the beach amenities too! Highly recommend! Confident you’ll love it!!

My family had a wonderful time. The kitchen had everything we needed, the house was very clean and oh so comfortable. We were just across the street from the beach, close to many restaurants, and yet away from the main hustle and bustle. We all loved our time in this wonderful setting!

Beautiful property and an ideal location

Situated across the street from the pedestrian beach access, the view and the sound of the surf was wonderful. The accommodations were excellent - furnishings, appliances, etc were definitely above average. The property manager is exceptional - she bent over backwards to ensure we had an ideal stay.

Perfect island get a way

This house has it all. From the comforrable beds to the luxurious towels and well stocked kitchen, this place is better than home because it has a view of the gulf. Lynn and Captain Kevin have thought of everything. The beach access is a short walk, a great cafe is a few blocks away and if that's not enough, you can enjoy the swing and chairs on the balcony while the palms sway in the breeze. We enjoyed ourselves so much, we are already looking at the calendar for next year.

Will definitely book this place again if I ever go back. The place is so nice and convenient to the beach and nothing on the island is over 10 mins to get to. We didn’t have to bring anything because they had umbrellas, wagons and beach toys on site. The people were friendly and helpful and never bothered us about anything. Well worth the money compared to a hotel.

Perfect for families on SPI

Lynn & Cpt. Kevin are awesome and their place is a gem! Condo and amenities were perfect and so was the location. Highly recommend staying there and be sure to go out bay fishing with Cpt. Kevin. He was great with our kids and made sure we caught fish (red fish we landed tasted amazing!). We’ll be back for sure, thanks!

Across the street from the beach

We stayed here in December and loved it. It has a great porch area with comfortable furniture. It was beautiful sitting out in the evening having drinks with the ocean breeze blowing.There were 2 minor minor things that we brought up to the owner and they were repaired within the hour. There were all sorts of beachy things provided, but we just used chairs and an umbrella. The rental was decorated with a Christmas tree and other holiday things. It was very clean, the A/C was ice cold and the bed was super comfortable. Plenty of Kitchen utensils and cooking stuff. When we were there, the street and area was not too busy and it was quiet. Great place.
