About this property
Steps to Lift -- 3-Br, 2-Bth Duplex w Pool / Tub
Sweetwater Lift Lodge is a Resort at the base of Park City Mountain. Stays are generally, Fri-Fri or Sat-Sat, with this being a 3-br, 2-bth duplex unit. The ground floor has a living room with fireplace, full kitchen and dining table, a drop down murphy bed (Queen) and 2-brs (Queen bedroom and a twin bunk room with sleeping for 4). The 3rd bedroom w private bath, is up a narrow spiral staircase and probably unsuitable for the elderly, disabled or very young. In a tight situation there are enough beds for 10 people (6 on the queens and 4 in the bunks).
The resort has a heated outdoor pool (recently updated with a glass enclosure), sauna and 15-person hot-tub. There is a game room with billiard table, ping pong and air hockey. Family movie nights in the rec room, and apres-ski wine/cheese and margarita nights for the adults. There are 2 outdoor grills for community use. Front desk is staffed 24/7. The lobby has recently been renovated.
While the rooms are dated, the beds are comfortable and the resort management does a great job keeping the place clean and tidy. The best part is the location. The lifts are a 3-min walk from the room in ski boots and all different levels of terrain are accessible from the base of Park City Mountain. There are a couple family restaurants and apres-ski bars at the base village. When we want to explore Old Town with all the shops, restaurants and nightlife, then it is a short 10-min walk away and a $15+ taxi/uber ride back home.

Great value and very nice place. A little hill to climb at. the end of the ski day was the only negative. Overall great place!

Thanks for being a great guest. Yes that 200-ft walk up hill can be a little tough in boots and tired legs, but next visit will show you a shortcut that allows you to walk down thru Kings Crown development (across the street).
Prior to our trip, our family had a reaervation with a different lodge in Park City. However, due to Covid-19 restrictions, that reservation was cancelled the day before our trip, and we were lucky to find this place unreserved. Erik, the property owner, responded to us within minutes and even went out of his way, given our unfortunate circumstances, to help us out. He is a super good host and we will be staying here as a first choice from now on.
As of Jan 2021, the lodge is undergoing renovations, but that is not a big deal. The hottub and sauna are also closed due to covid.
It is a short 3 minute walk (in ski boots) to the lifts, and a 12 minute walk to the downtown area. Good location.

Ty is a super nice and gracious guest. Instant responses and took great care of the property. Hopefully your next visit there will be more snow and the resort will be fully renovated with all Covid restrictions lifted. Then you can truly enjoy the Park City experience. best, erik
It is a very short walk to the lift, a 10 min walk to main street, and a property with lots of amenities. The owner is very responsive and offers lots of useful information. Highly recommended!
