Ideally located in the small village of PONTENX LES FORGES 10 minutes from Mimizan.
Very calm, withdrawn from the crowd, on the edge of the forest.
Modern and tastefully decorated.

Perfect holiday home

We stayed at this property for two weeks. Myself, my husband and daughter plus our 2 sausage dogs. The house was well equipped and the outside area perfect for sunbathing, dining and the dogs. The inside was spacious and cool. There is a shop over the road and short walk up a bistro, pizzeria and bakery. The neighbours are delightful and very friendly. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it.

Idyllic

My wife and I have just got back from spending 11 days in this quiet corner of South West France. The Gite lacked nothing plenty of beds , modern and well equipped kitchen, modern bathroom, Although only two of us the internal dining facilities catered for many more and so did the outside along with sun loungers, parasols seating and a pool to cool you down in the afternoon heat. certainly would recommend this for a stay. Virginia the owner was very prompt in replying to our few queries and although she spoke very little English this proved to be no barrier to her. Thank you steve and lorraine

Lovely stay in Pontenx-les-Forges

The three of us (me, wife and Bertie our miniature schnauzer) had a lovely 13 night holiday. Virginie had provided us with very good instructions and communication before we arrived. The property is located in a quiet village with great access to cycle paths and Bertie particularly enjoyed the access close by to great walks in the forest. The property had everything we needed for our stay or we’d been told we needed to bring. The beach at Mimizan Plage was about half an hour drive and Biscarrosse Plage slightly further. Access to large supermarkets were about 10-15 minute drive. The pool was lovely for cooling off on hot days and the garden was nice and secure for Bertie.

Toutes les indications pour accéder au logement étaient précis. Les photos extérieures reflÚtent la réalité. La piscine est vraiment un trÚs bon atout lorsque les chaleurs sont importantes. Nous avons passé un séjour agréable. Pour ceux qui sont passionnés des Landes, je vous encourage à louer ce logement situé entre Mimizan et Biscarrosse.

Das Haus ist wirklich schön. Der Garten und der Pool klasse. Die Zimmer auch toll. Zum Strand sind es ca 19 km. Lidl ca. 9 km und 11 km ein grĂ¶ĂŸerer Einkaufsladen. Am Haus selber ist ein kleiner Einkaufsladen.

La maison est trĂšs jolie et dĂ©corĂ©e avec goĂ»t. Le coin piscine est agrĂ©able et dispose de tout le nĂ©cessaire pour se dĂ©tendre. La piste cyclable et les commerces Ă  proximitĂ© sont Ă©galement apprĂ©ciables. Nous avons pu dĂ©couvrir la forĂȘt Landaise lors de promenades sans avoir Ă  prendre la voiture. Belle location de vacances idĂ©ale pour une famille de 4. Situation gĂ©ographique assez bonne pour se rendre Ă  Mimizan plage et/ou dĂ©couvrir la forĂȘt landaise et ses lacs. La maison est pratique et dispose d'une piscine bien agrĂ©able. Les commerces sont Ă  proximitĂ© tout comme la piste cyclable. Nous avons trouvĂ© qu'il serait peut ĂȘtre nĂ©cessaire de rajouter des ustensiles de cuisine mais dans l'ensemble tout est lĂ  pour passer de bonnes vacances en famille ou entre amis dans cette maison. SĂ©jour de 2 familles Sony 2 enfants de moins de 3 ans. Le logement est simple d'accĂšs, le dialogue avec les propriĂ©taires Ă©tait sympathique. Logement bien conçu et agrĂ©able, l'espace extĂ©rieur Ă©tait apprĂ©ciable. A un peu moins de 15 minutes en voiture de Mimizan, nous n'avons pas trouvĂ© cette distance gĂȘnante pour rayonner. Je recommande.

Nous avons passĂ© un trĂšs bon sĂ©jour dans cette maison, parfaitement bien Ă©quipĂ©e. Les 2 chambres sont spacieuses, la cuisine ne manque de rien. Le mobilier extĂ©rieur est complet (petit salon, table Ă  manger, transat, etc). Je recommande sans hĂ©siter. (Petite suggestion : nous avons sĂ©journĂ© lors d’une semaine oĂč les tempĂ©ratures sont montĂ©es Ă  presque 40 degrĂ©s. Une voile d’ombrage Ă  l’extĂ©rieur pour complĂ©ter les parasols aurait Ă©tĂ© un petit plus pour prĂ©server un peu plus du soleil la partie vĂ©randa).
