Perfect place to stay with a couple of close friends looking to ski at Seven Springs. Cabin had a very cozy vibe, perfect for making an easy dinner, playing games, and watching movies after long day of skiing . The only thing missing was a hair dryer or something to help dry some of our gear after a very rainy day on the mountain but other than that, had everything we needed.
Great place to stay with my Dad for a long weekend ski trip at Seven Springs. The cabin had everything we needed and we really enjoyed hanging out around the fire pit. Would definitely stay again for future trips to Seven Springs.
Listing was very accurate and communication with host was easy. This bicycle and ski enthusiast has decorated accordingly. I would recommend it for solo travel or a couple. The cozy space might feel small with more people.
We loved the cottage, very clean and the back yard was so peaceful
We tried the espresso machine but would of preferred a coffee maker.
We look forward in staying again.
Thank you for sharing your little gem.
This cabin is charming and comfortable. The hosts have furnished it with everything you could possibly need. It's spacious, clean, and tranquil. We loved the sound of the stream in the back of the property. It's about a 30 minute drive to Fallingwater, Ohiopyle, and most water attractions. We preferred the solitude of the private road and non-touristy vibe of the neighborhood. Close to Seven Springs if you are a skier (we're not). Lots of great hiking nearby in the Laurel Hill State Park and Roaring Run Natural Recreation area.
We absolutely adored this charming cottage! Being on the gravel road just far enough away from the world, but close to Champion, 7 Springs, and Donegal. On Sat evening we could just hear the band at the wedding next door if we were on the front porch. It made for a wonderful way to enjoy the evening.
The living room has the perfect reading chair and I absolutely loved the hammock and fire ring out back.
The bike trail is nearby and it is absolutely gorgeous- highly recommend!
Great stay at an adorable little cabin. We explored the surrounding parks during the day and then would cosy up on the comfy couch at night and snuggle while watching TV. The cabin was great and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to get away for a bit. If you have children, just note that the steps up to the loft are very steep -- more like a ladder. Not a problem for us, but something to note. Also, Fred just had a new water conditioner put in. It was great! Not only did it make great coffee, but my hair loved it as well!
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the lovely cabin. It was full of thoughtful touches and very cozy. The sound of the nearby creek is so soothing. The location was great for exploring local trails. We hope to return!
This cabin is small but extremely cozy! It was the perfect getaway for myself and my husband. It was so peaceful! Fred was so easy to contact throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking to get away. Just make sure to pack warm clothes!
This cabin is exactly what we were looking for. After a grueling work schedule, we needed some time away from home to unwind in a quiet, cozy and restful abode with nature all around and a wonderful fireplace. We could snuggle in front of the fire when it was raining or take any of the numerous hikes in the area when it was fine. The cabin was exactly as described online - attractive, clean, comfortable, and perfectly situated in the Laurel Highlands. The owner communicated with us extensively, so that as soon as we arrived, we had everything we needed. Today, we are sorry to be leaving and will definitely stay here again in the future.
Cozy and comfortable, Fred's cabin was perfect for a getaway weekend with friends. Lots of little comforts like fireplace, pantry staples, and pillows made for a great relaxing weekend.
We had a great time at this beautiful and cozy cottage in the woods! Our group of four was extremely comfortable and felt very welcome by the Owner. Even when we had an issue finding the check in instructions that we received some weeks prior, he responded right away and resent them. He also stayed in touch during the weekend offering an occasional tip about what else to do on the property. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces were fantastic, and the property (especially the creek) was beautiful. Thanks for a wonderful spot for our fun weekend!
A cozy spot with a cute pond to walk to down the gravel road and a nice fire pit in the back. Short drives to several state parks for hiking. Host was very responsive!
