Rocky Mountain Cottage

This family cottage is located in the North Nordegg subdivision on 1.26 acres of land with direct access to surrounding crown land and direct access to the eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains. Activities in the area include hiking, fishing, quad bike with many trails, lakes and rivers at your doorstep. This fully equipped cottage provides all the amenities and comforts you desire including satellite, high speed internet via Starlink and a collection of DVD's. Enjoy a fire inside or out and enjoy the many activities this mountain region has to offer. The opportunities for adventure are endless in historic Nordegg! Please note that dogs and cats have stayed in the cottage from time to time.

*Please note: the entire weekend must be booked over long weekends.*

Lovely cabin in tranquil surroundings. Interesting local village with great cafe offering amazing selection of pies. We used it as a base for exploring Banff National Park. A bit of a drive but it's a beautiful road so we didn't mind the extra kilometres each day.

Our second stay and again a great experience. The cabin is comfortable and well-equipped, and both it and the property are very well-maintained. Though the weather didn't cooperate this time, the beautiful view, covered deck, big BBQ & cozy fireplace helped make it an enjoyable weekend nonetheless. Host was quick to respond, answer questions, and provide all the info required for a hassle-free stay. Lots of stuff/info at the cabin to keep you busy indoors and out. Literally a few steps away from access to Coliseum Trail, and an easy 45 min walk into Nordegg: helps burn off the pie from the Miner's Cafe on the return journey!
