Completely renovated apartment in a pleasant, comfortable residence, 2 steps from the historic center and the old town. close to all shops, it has a private underground parking.
The beds are made when you arrive, and the bedding is new and quality. no sofa bed or extra bed but a real bed with branded bedding. You have household linen which is provided (towels, gloves, soaps, tea towels ...). you have all the necessary equipment for meals, coffee machines, oven, microwave, dishes.

Colmar with small children

The apartment has everything you need and can't beat the location. It's close to parks for kids and the private parking space is a bonus. The apartment it self is child friendly/safe, but I can't say the actual building the unit is in, is particularly child friendly. The owner was very nice to check us in and show us the home. The only thing I would say is that there is a language barrier. We must had miscommunicated about the checkin time as I had not given an actual checkin time, was told to just text an hour before arrival. Was scolded by the owner by phone for not being there at 4pm while we were in traffic driving from Paris, arrived just after 5pm. Owner just needs to be more clear of the checkin instructions as this did leave a negative first impression. Other then that, I would still recommend this stay.

Nice flat but mis communication with owner was unfortunate.

We booked the flat 12 months prior to the date of arrival. The booking was accepted. Then the owner said he may have to put up the price as he had not reviewed the rates. I was happy with this and when I reviewed the rate, I agreed with what was showing. (I didn't have access to what it had been before so wasn't aware how much it had changed) but agreed with the figure. Towards our arrival date Eric asked for a further 90 euros in cash on our arrival. This was the only note I had of an increase. I did not see this request as it was just before we arrived. Therefore on arrival at the property he asked for the money. We felt obliged to pay otherwise we would have no where to stay if he had asked us to leave. VRBO agree that there is no increase shown on the balance to our account and that we should not have paid the additional amount. We believe Eric may of made a mistake but we had to pay for it. It was embarrassing and had we not had euros I am unsure what would have happened. A poor start to our break. Just be aware that you need to ensure you know exactly what you are paying! With regard to the flat, it was clean and in a good position. I would also mention that there are not two bedrooms. There is one bedroom with single beds. The lounge has the other bed which you need to go through to reach the bedroom.

Schönheit Colmar

Der Empfang durch unseren Gastgeber Eric war sehr gut.Die Lage der Wohnung muss man zweifach bewerten.Zur Altstadt und zu den Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ist alles zu Fuß zu erreichen.Was nicht ganz so prickelnd war, der Berufsverkehr ging schon morgens um 6:00 Uhr los. Das zog sich dann hin bis zum Sonnenuntergang um 22:00 Uhr.Insgesamt hat uns der Aufenthalt in Colmar sehr gut gefallen auch bei Temperaturen bis 39. Wir können die Stadt und unseren Gastgeber nur weiterempfehlen.

Die Fewo liegt am Rande der Altstadt (3-5 min zu Fuß). Für Autoreisende steht ein Tiefgaragenplatz zur Verfügung. Alle Museen und Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Der Vermieter ist freundlich und nett, vorab kann alles bereits schriftlih angefragt werden. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet, ein weiterer Sessel im Wohnzimmer wäre von Vorteil. Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt in Colmar

Der Vermieter (Eric) ist sehr nett und freundlich. Die Wohnung entsprach der Beschreibung. Sie war sauber und gut ausgestattet. Die Betten sind bequem. Sehr erfreulich ist der Garagenplatz. Aufgrund der zentralen Lage sind es nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß um die Sehenswürdigkeiten Colmars zu erkunden.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour, l’endroit est parfait, tout près de la vieille ville (tout se fait à pieds) avec stationnement intérieur inclus pour ranger la voiture le temps du séjour. Communication très facile avec Eric qui est très gentil!
