My 10 year old daughter's favorite out of the 4 places we stayed, and I agree. Clean, affordable, and so charming, Tons of fruit trees and flowers, beautiful property. Great balance between eco friendly and comfortable. Guests are asked to conserve power (as location is solar powered and the location sometimes has long stretches of rain), but still great wifi, powerful fan, shampoo and body wash in the shower and a high water pressure endless hot shower. The fairy lights directing the way to each cabin was adorable. Dawn had a map of her favorite spots on the island hanging in our unit and a binder with travel activities. I appreciated that because it helped my daughter feel more involved in picking things to do. Beach towels and snorkels were available for free. Again, basic accomodations but with so many strategic amenities that made our stay super comfortable. And if you stay, opt for the hot tub! It's so worth the extra 20/day, especially after a long day hiking at VLPN or doing any of the other countless adventures on Big Island.
