Loved this place! It's like a campground, without the hassle of setting up your gear! Loved the creek where the kids could play, nice, quiet, and very clean! Would love to come back with friends and rent a few cabins altogether!
Great place to stay. Close to everything. We stayed in the fox den by the creek. Very clean and wonderful hosts. Anytime I had a question they were quick to get back with us. Heading back this christmas, Lord willing.
I was looking for a place to take my 88 year old father for his birthday.
We loved this setup. We got to see and listen to the creek running, have a fire, roast marshmellows & hot dogs. The host Robin was wonderful! Charming & clean! Perfect & beautiful scenery. Couldnt have asked for more. Handicap accessable which made things so easy for us.
We had a wonderful stay at this creekside cabin. The owners were very responsive and attentive. The cabin was clean and easy to get to from Bryson city. We were able to go to deep creek, Cherokee and the road to nowhere with ease! The property had so many features we could have never left. The kids really loved running in the open field, skipping stones in the creek, and enjoying the playhouse. We also loved nightly campfires. We hope to be back soon.
Great location, easy access, kitchen everything you need, large bathroom, very large front porch with conformable rockers over looking a large porch. Best of all is the on site owner (Robin) and his right hand Man Steve
The cabin was very comfortable and had most everything we needed.. We hope to stay again when we re
The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. My only complaint is more thorough dusting needs to be done in the cabin and maybe spider webs swept off of porch chairs and window screens.on outside. ( I know, I am somewhat aracrophobic). Also, a soap dish is needed on bathroom counter. These are petty complaints, but thought I would bring it to your attention. Loved our stay!
This cabin was everything I had hoped it would be. The river running was the best sound to fall asleep to and to wake up to. Very clean and had all the necessities. I will definitely book again!
A little bit of heaven tucked between the mountains!
This place was heavenly! Although we did leave the property a couple times, we could have literally stayed right there for weeks and been content and entertained! We loved the road from town to the property! Grandparents who can't get around were able to comfortably watch the kids play in the creek! Miss Luna, the master escapee goat, kept my kids entertained and looking forward to looking to see if she was out back. The kids wanted to spend every minute in the creek! My only disappointment was in the description it says there is a sofa bed, but when removing the cushions there is a message to NOT fold out the bed. Overall this place is for sure a little piece of heaven, tucked between the mountains!
We stayed for 3 nights, but wished we could stay longer. The cabin was just right for our family of five. It was clean, inviting, and very comfortable. The themed decor added extra special touches. The owner was easily accessible and addressed our needs. We played by the creek, campfire at night, and sat outside on rockers and swing in the morning listening to the creek rushing across the rocks. We want to definitely return and try out another sister cabin.
We stayed for a week. Picked this property for it's central location in the mountains. Our plan was day trips on the motorcycle. North, South, East, and West of this location was perfect. Nice and quite with a couple of fires at the burn pit made this a great trip. Thanks Robin !
An excellent choice for us, as we enjoyed the cabin and grounds.
This property was a welcomed get away. Great quiet location, awesome views of Lands Creek right outside the door. Thanks to Robin, Steve & all the friendly staff. We will return!
If you're looking to get away and relax, this is the place! The sound of the creek was so peaceful and relaxing - just wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy. Hope to go back one day.
Super easy process! We loved this place and will make this a yearly trip. Beautiful location. Robin was amazing as he helped build fires for us and checked on us daily to see if we needed anything. The pics do not do it justice. Thanks

About the host

We became a part of Bryson City and its people in July of 1999 when we purchased the property that would become Lands Creek Log Cabins. As with many of our friends, we’d visit the Great Smoky Mountains as often as we could and each time it was tougher to go back home. From the first time we drove into this valley and alongside Lands Creek we knew we were meant to be here.
Robin moved up to start working on the site and building cabins in July of 2000. Sue, along with sons Josh and Kyle followed in June 2001. What later became the Squirrel’s Nest Cabin was the only cabin here when we began.
Lands Creek Log Cabins is a business built by the efforts and belief of family and friends. It is a true “family business” in every sense.
By the efforts of many we have grown a great deal in our time. Our grounds are now at 100 acres and the home to 19 wonderful cabins and The Lands Creek Lodge. At the center of it and down by the creek is Harmony Hall.
As we have grown, we have had one goal at the foundation of our business: To touch peoples’ lives in a positive way and to provide the opportunity for memories.
— Robin & Sue Fronrath
