Not what you think..

Many issues with the house. Vacasa help desk tries to help, but local property management was slow to resolve the spa/pool heat. There’s a new pool heater installed, but it’s not programmed correctly. Spa and pool are set to 100 degrees… ugh. House of fairly beat up inside and could use lots of love. Grill is corroded and not functional. Basic amenities and kitchen ware was adequate. Sadly there are many nicer houses nearby that are a better value.

Thanksgiving getaway

House was lovely. Clean and cool upon arrival. They even set the formal dining room for us, complete with gold chargers and placemats; they even left some disposable plates and napkins that had cute little notes on them like "give thanks". It was a nice simple touch. Our pool and jacuzzi weren't heated upon arrival, but after reaching out to VRBO I was given the local property managers number and he (Joel) came out the next morning and reset the heater for us and reprogrammed the remote so we could continue to use throughout our stay, and boy does it get WARM. Which was perfect since the evening temperatures went down into the upper 50s, lower 60s. Plenty of room to spread out, efficient supplies to cook our Thanksgiving dinner, though we did bring our own supplies too. The only two things that I would've changed were that the pool light and jets on the jacuzzi did not work during our stay, but didn't deter us from enjoying, and honestly, the biggest thing was that in the master bathroom, there is a door that opens up to the exterior patio and it really could use some sort of blinds on the door. The shower is fully glassed in, and not like opaque, and faces the golf course. So some golfers could get a really great view of you showering. Other than that, bedding was comfy, water was hot, amenities were fantastic. Communicative and responsive property manager (Joel). Easy check in and out process. Would recommend.

Worst experience ever

Im still fighting for a refund they will lie and tell you that they will send maintenance but will never show up. I had to leave the house and get another house for my family. It was bug infested the pool was dirty and we was locked out of the mother n law suite. This house and property management was the worst experience I have ever had . Stay away from this property and property management. They lie about everything and customer service is the worst.

Okay house terrible renters

House was nice and that’s the only reason it’s getting more than 1 star. Charged me for an extra day of pool and spa heat and wouldn’t answer me after i explained that I was being charged too much. Pool and spa heat wasn’t even on until the third day where we had to hound them about sending someone over to fix it. Communication was brutal and their representatives would just lie and say someone was on there way but couldn’t give me a name or phone number to reach them, they were clueless. still haven’t gotten a response from them on how to get a refund for the pool and spa heat. No filter in the pool so there was leaves and dead bugs everywhere. The house itself was good but dealing with the renters was an absolute nightmare, never renting through them again.

house review

the house is solid and luxurious. However many of the features do not work. We called Vacasa right away and they took care of the safety issues pretty fast. such as the outlet in the floor in the family room where the wires were hanging out and causing a shock hazard for our kids. Below is a list of all the items that we found in the home during our stay. please note some of these are minor some are more major: 1) Pool filter was leaking so much that it was running water in the neighbors yard and the pool was 10" low in water 2) Electrical hazard with the outlet in the family room ( they fixed it by stuffing the wires in and taping it down) 3)stove in the kitchen did not work 4) ice maker did not work 5) fireplace did not work 6) half the toaster did not work 7)the carpets were run down with stains and flat spots 8) many digs in the walls with spackle on them 9) the radiant floor in the bathroom did not work (master) 10)outside lounge chair missing a arm 11) couch upstairs was broken in half 12)linens were low grade and a little on the rough side/ pillows tough 13) towels were rough and there were no pool towels these were the items we noticed could use some attention. Granted some of these are minor but if these items were addressed it would turn the house into a 5 star review. We contacted Vacasa as the repair man told us to to get a credit for these items. Vacasa said they would look into it and get back to me. Unfortunately they did not......
