The rock cabin is under a shade tree. All communication was by text as to how to get in. You walk in and the bathroom is straight ahead. The tub/shower is up with a step. Not recommended for anybody with mobility problems.There’s a small seating area to the left. The kitchen is straight back. Has a microwave, stove, coffee pot and tea pot. The bedroom is in the back. Both the front room and the bedroom have their own fans and air conditioning. We were very comfortable and the dance hall ruins were very interesting.

Cute and Comfortable

My husband and I stayed for two nights in this cute little house. The house is in a good location and is decorated nicely. The furnishings were very comfortable. We would stay again if in the area.

Short stay

It had everything a person would need. Only drawback was the tv too small and the ac/heat unit might need some attention due to the crazy weather change we experienced from hot to cold other than was great

Great place!

Perfect place! Very close to the restaurants and shops. Hot tub was awesome. Thinking about buying one like it for home. I did not do any cooking but it is very well stocked with spices and things you need for cooking. Would love to come back to this property some time .

Charming little Cowboy cottage

I wanted the full “Cowboy Capital” experience so I booked this home with its rustic decor. Great little spot in Bandera for a solo traveler or couple, worked a day and a half remotely and the wifi was adequate. Only complaint is the size of the mini hot water heater - not enough for more than a 5 minute shower.

great hideout and quiet Cowboy Haus

The Cowboy Haus is perfect and only needs a ball point pen on the guestbook so that short timer renters can leave their comments while still there! The OST restaurant is a hoot and so friendly. Thanks Natalie - we love your place and will visit you whenever we are in Bandera again! Frisbee golf course is walking distance and we saw lots of deer there along the riverbed....enjoy the eclipse today - clear skies! Brian & Teresa

Nice Home!

It was just my self and my daughter. The house was perfect for our needs. I didn’t do enough research….i had planned on us walking to 11th street. Now it is walking distance, but for us it was a bit farther than anticipated, to walk, considering cooler weather. The house had everything needed for an overnight stay, I mean everything. The host was very nice and had the place ready before the 3 o’clock check, which we considered, but did t need!

The house is a cute set up. However, the listing does not say it’s across the street from a cemetery and church. The house was not very clean, and items left for guests like wash cloths, trash bags, towels are very limited. In the case of the trash bags & toilet paper the bags are thin and small even in the kitchen and don’t fit the trash can. The toilet paper is one ply. The bed was messy when we checked in. Grass burs on the floor.

Umm. There’s a picture of the cemetery under photos. You didn’t book the reservation…a James did so I am not sure who you are. The house is prepped before every guest and had a bed been messy, we would have known that. Maybe you are referring to the “throw” that is thrown on the bed??? One ply toilet paper doesn’t clog my septic especially when guests overuse the tp. The trash bags do fit my trash can because why in the world would I get too small of trash bags for me to have to dig through your trash pulling it out?? That is all.
