Chicago Cubs Mtn Retreat Cabin offers 3 bedrooms 3.5 bathrooms the main level offers a fully equipped kitchen (dishes, pots and pans, glasses, silverware, small appliances etc) , living room with large flat screen t.v. and duel gas fireplace. The master bedroom has a king bed, gas fireplace, large Jacuzzi tub and private bath with stand up shower. The 2nd master offers a king bed with a 50" smart tv (no satellite offered on this tv) with private bath tub/shower combo. On the back deck you will find a private hot tub with a t.v. and relaxing rocking chairs. Downstairs you will find a fun filled game room equipped with a pool table, fooseball table, 2 person sit down arcade with 12 games, sleeper sofa, refrigerator,microwave and a large flat screen t.v. to watch your favorite game. Just outside the game room on the deck is your very own private putt putt course to enjoy. Also located downstairs you will find the half-bath off the game room and the third bedroom with a queen bed, 50" smart tv (no satellite offered on this tv) and private bathroom with a walk in shower. You also have access to the indoor heated pool open year round.

Absolutely the Best!

I cannot be any more pleased with our stay! The price was great, cabin was clean and well kept and not only that the owner was absolutely fantastic and stayed in contact with me throughout the trip. I make a trip to pigeon Forge./Gatlinburg area at least once a year. Moving forward I will not stay anywhere else here! I cannot say enough, good things about the cabin and the owner! This is the first place I’ve ever stayed where someone has checked in and made sure that everything was to my expectation on a regular basis! This is what I call great service and someone who is compassionate and caring! In my book, this is beyond five stars!

Go Cubs Go! Wonderful cabin!

Fun cabin! We enjoyed it all! My son really enjoyed the pool table, putt putt and we all loved relaxing in the hot tub. The Manager, April was awesome and helped make our anniversary a little extra special.

Christmas Vacation in the Mountains

This is the best property for a large family. We had eight in our party and everybody was comfortable and had somewhere to sleep. April has thought about everything you will need and even threw in things we didn’t realize we would need or want. She’s great and super friendly. We loved her place and can’t wait to stay here again.

Wonderful time

We had an absolutely awesome time. The cabin was very nice and had so much for the kids to do. Pete the squirrel was pretty cool too. The kids loved the hot tub just as much as the adults. Thank u for allowing us to stay in ur beautiful cabin. God bless

amazing host and property.

aprilwas great to work with and was very helpful amd responsive. the property was very kid friendly. we were rained in for a whole day and the kids were entertained all day still. love the pac man machine we were able to relive our childhood with our children and beat them at a video game for once.

Great Chicago Cubs Cabin

I grew up a Chicago Cubs. This cabin had Chicago Cubs decor throughout. Plenty for the kids to do and very close to Dollywood which was great. Easy access to the cabin. Each room had its own bathroom which worked out great. Enjoyed playing putt-putt golf with my granddaughter. Overall, this cabin was a nice and comfortable place to stay. Go Cubs!

Great cabin!

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was very nice and I felt very safe in the resort. The only thing I would change or add is…. Have some portable fans and the area rug in the living room is a little slick. I had to watch my parents on that rug. Otherwise a great place to stay and I would rent again!

Finally!!!

Enjoyed another stay in Pigeon Forge! Visiting Tennessee every year since 2011, we always experience something new! This year we saw our first BEAR!! Driving to our cabin in the Hidden Springs resort, we saw something behind the caged trash cans! A bear!!!! A moment we will never forget!! Our cabin was cozy and fit our needs. Using VRBO was another new experience and a good choice! Thank you,April,for sharing your TN mountain home with 7 from PA!

Compact and Yet Roomy

Our experience with the Cubs Cabin was wonderful. The cabin is not as large as it appears on some of the pictures (mainly the kitchen) but with seven of us, it still felt roomy enough. The putt putt course did not smell at all and was a big hit. The game room kept our video game obsessed 13 year old son off his phone, etc for the entire three day stay. The hills to get to the cabin are fairly typical for the area, though some of the turns are blind so you have to really take it slow because of people coming too fast the other direction. The cabin is very well stocked in the kitchen and linens and the beds are about a 7/10 by our experience (we are accustomed to a hybrid foam mattress though, not something you find in rentals). The host April was very responsive and helpful for our entire stay. Would definitely stay here again!

The best host

This was the first time we had decided to do a Christmas trip with our family and my brothers. The trip itself was one for the books, not in a good way. Everyone ended up with a horrible stomach bug. Our whole trip was spent at the cabin trying to get better. The host April was so good to us. We needed to extend our stay because we couldn’t do the car ride with so many people still throwing up, April made it so easy and talked to us for a long time on the phone. Our last day there we still had a sick kiddo and April let us stay as long as we needed to try to get him at a point to travel. I’m between sickness we really enjoyed the cabin. The kids loved the hot tub and Pete the squirrel. We saw three bears one morning. Everything was clean and just as the post stated. The kids also loved the basement and all the things to do down there. April was very good to us. We would definitely book here again.

Cute place, great location, strong air fresheners

The basement activities were a hit! The arcade game and pool table were the best part of the house.We were blown away with a very strong smell of air freshener, so we had to air out the house and put the air fresheners outside. All my clothes came home smelling like them. New pool ques are desperately needed, and the pool table needs leveled. The kids didn't mind it, the adults did. The cabinets were stocked with food so no place to put our own food. Cobwebs in the master shower and while there is a closet in the master it is locked so there is nowhere to hand clothes in that bedroom.

This is the second time we stayed there and overall it's been a good experience lots to do for my little children close to lots of things to do in pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg .

2nd cabin stay at Hidden Springs resort

Stayed at another cabin here and was great because of pool. This cabin is extremely dated and worn. Everything in it was the cheapest when new, years ago. Also this is the only cabin around that had hundreds of carpenter bees around. Others had them but not as bad as this one. Also this cabin has a mandatory insurance added while booking otherwise the deposit is 1500 so it is more than what is displayed on vrbo. April is very nice and responds promptly.

Holiday Family Getaway

We had a great time in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. This property was just the right size for our two families. Nicely appointed with everything we needed. The three teens and two 10year olds we had with us loved the downstairs game area!

We come to the area 2-4 times a year. This has been the most memorable cabin we have ever stayed at. There is so muc for kids to do at the cabin, you truly dont have to get out if you dont want to. From putt putt golf on the porch, arcade game, pool table, and foosball.

April is wonderful!

April was very responsive to several unique challenges we faced during our stay, she exceeded our expectations for communication and fairness for events which were not under her control. The property was perfect for our family, especially the kids as there was so much to do. The back deck was an amazing space to look over the valley below toward the mountain across from the cabin. It was well stocked, had games and books for kids and adults, so close to Dollywood but we still felt like we were in the mountains. Thank you, April, for a memorable family vacation!

Great neighborhood

Overall great experience. Our third time in the neighborhood. House is great for a baseball fan. Community pool was a little chilly but fun. Wi-Fi was spotty but to be expected in the mountains. Manager responded immediately to both of our issues and were resolved quickly as well.
