Overall this was a nice, quiet place. The common kitchen was unique. Room was fine for what we needed. The heat woke us up a couple times- when it came on it made a weird loud pinging/sizzling noise. The mattress wasn’t comfortable for me or my husband. We were on the end- it would have been nice if the outside door keypad noise could have been silenced the way our room ones were. I thought we had a balcony, not a slider with a gate, not sure if the fine print stated that. It wasn’t a huge deal since it was cold, had it been nice, I would have been disappointed. Thank you!

Quaint little inn

We were very happy at the canalside Inn. The room and the entire place was clean and well maintained. Bryan and Kristen and all of the staff were attentive and easily available. Though the pool is small it was a nice break in the day to relax and not be overrun with a lot of people. I would definitely stay there again.

Great location and pet friendly

We chose this option since it was pet friendly and close to the beach. The room was nice if a little smaller than it looked in the picture. Our only small complaint was that certain items for our pet were not in our room when we checked in. The listing said we should expect a dog towel, treats, and a dark duvet cover, but these items were not left in our room upon arrival and due to covid restrictions we did not want to inquire about them. Overall a positive experience.

Great stay at cozy inn!

My wife & our dog had a great time at this cute inn near the beach. Great location w/both a fantastic breakfast spot - Egg - and an awesome coffee shop - Rise Up - right around the corner. Nestled right on the canal, which provides a perfect dog-walking path. We’ll definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Rehoboth Beach!

Everything was wonderful, the hosts even arranged for us to stay in a room with a balcony and a beautiful view. All you ever needed was at your fingertips. Everyone was extremely helpful and went out of their way to make us feel at home Thank you and we will be seeing you again!!

Great place for a short respite with your furry friend

Bryan and Kristen made us feel at home. They were very helpful and accommodating. When I told Bryan, the owner that I was not able to take my dog with me in this trip, he was quick to say that he hopes my dog is okay and didn’t hesitate refunding me for the pet fee. The Canal Inn is located in a quaint corner and is a walking distance to the beach and fine restaurants. Definitely a good place to just recharge from the pandemic fatigue.

We went there off-season with our dog and had a fabulous time. The inn is neat and well-organized, set up for families with or without pets, and with a nice coffee place just around the corner.

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Canalside Inn. Our room was squeaky clean and provided a bowl for my dog's drinking water. I appreciated how they made us and our dog feel welcome. We look forward to staying at the Inn again next fall.
