Beautiful Villa of European comfort ideally located near shops, beach etc...
The villa that we have named “La Maison du Soleil” is located in Somone.
Somone, often called La Somone, after a local river, is a locality located on the Petite-Côte, 77 km south of Dakar.
The villa is very recent, construction, on a 650m² plot, was completed at the end of September 2019.
- It is located in the SEANE district
- It is very close to the main village road, the market, shops, the beach.
- It is fully air conditioned and ventilated
- It includes four main rooms
Description of accommodation:
- A large living room with leather corner sofa
- 3 bedrooms with private bathrooms and toilets
- Furnished indoor and outdoor kitchen (fridge / freezer - gas hob - oven - microwave)
- Beautiful terrace on which you can relax and have your meals
- Private swimming pool of 11m x 4.50
- Petanque
Equipment:
- With the exception of air conditioning, all electrical installations run on solar energy which is a real advantage for tenants because electricity is expensive in Senegal.
- The living room is equipped with a TV with CANAL + decoder
- A wifi box is available
Quality staff:
- Babacar our steward who is also the caretaker of the house 7 days a week, he has his room on the property, his salary is included in the rental price. In addition to his work, he can provide airport transfers and offer excursions from home.
Former bartender, he can also prepare excellent cocktails !!
- Awa Diagne our housekeeper who does the cleaning from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm from Monday to Friday, her salary is included in the rental price. Awa will also be pleased to welcome you to its Awa Création boutique located in the village of Somone opposite the Tamarin restaurant. You will find many works of art, African outfits, souvenirs from Senegal
- Awa Boye, freelance worker can intervene for the preparation of your meals. She can be present every day at your request. Do not hesitate to ask her to prepare you typically Senegalese dishes (yassa, mafé, Thiéboudienne), menu suggestions and your shopping in fresh products (fish, vegetables and fruits) while you are at the beach, at the pool or on an excursion.

Merci à Jean-Luc et sa femme de nous avoir permis de louer la "maison du soleil". Belle villa avec tout le nécessaire.
Babacar, le gardien est juste génial, il répondra à toutes vos questions, très réactif, agréable.
Awa, la femme de ménage est très serviable, efficace et de confiance.
Nous avons fait appel aux services d'une autre femme qui se prénomme aussi Awa, pour la cuisine, qui nous a fait des plats juste incroyable.
Un grand merci à Tous, vous avez contribué à notre excellent séjour à la Somone.
