The Lummis St. Bungalow is within walking distance of everything you will need to make Sodus Point your families destination for fun and relaxation. Lummis St. is a quiet welcoming street located just off Bay St. overlooking the Great Sodus Bay. We welcome you to be our guest and make yourselves at home.
Here are some of the amenities provided and the entertainment options for you and your family during your stay:
• Perfect size lawn area ready for outdoor enjoyment, cookouts and yard games
• Gas fire pit, 2 kayaks, life jackets, beach chairs, beach towels, fold up beach wagon and corn hole boards
• Gas grill with all of the tools needed for your grilling pleasure
• Enjoy your coffee in the morning and wine at night on our relaxing screened in porch with a view of Sodus Bay.
• Each bedroom has its own separate keyed entrance to use if you wish.
• Free Wifi provided
• Plenty of parking, but please no parking on grass to left of driveway. Keep parking to the drive way or side of road.
• 1st floor: Screened-in porch, full bath, laundry room, queen sleeper couch
• 2nd floor: 1 master with queen bed, 2 bedrooms with double beds, full bath,
• 1 rollaway single bed in closet upstairs to be used wherever needed
• Natural gas stove in living room for added coziness and ambience
• Start and end your day on the private screened in porch with a beautiful view of Sodus Bay.
• Kitchen is fully equip with everything you need to prepare home cooked meals and a brand new dishwasher for easy cleanup.

We enjoyed staying in the Lummis house. Loved using the kayaks at the nearby kayak launch. For future visitors the AC is room specific not central and the stairs pretty steep.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATIONCentrally located to everything and it was a walking distance too. The weather was great so it was easy to walk 3 blocks and grab something to each. Our purpose was fishing for this trip. So close to the water, easy access. Will come back again next year.

This was such an enjoyable stay! The house is cozy and clean. Loved the enclosed patio area. Lots of room! Host was pleasant and so easy to communicate with. Hello, We completely loved staying at this house! It's a short walk to the beach and the downtown, and the house was very comfortable to return to each day. The screened in porch was great, as was the wide array of cozy chairs in the living room. We definitely recommend staying here and choosing Sodus Point more generally as a vacation destination. Wedding Weekend

My family and I stayed at Lummis St. Bungalow for my daughter’s wedding. We enjoyed sitting on the screened porch and loved that we were within walking distance to the restaurants, bars, and beautiful water! The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and comfortable for the whole family (4 adults and 2 children). The house was spotless! We had a very comfortable stay here!

Lovely waterfront getaway

Very charming cottage not far from the water and close to the quaint little business area of Sodus Bay. All described amenities were present and accounted for. We were in town for our youngest child’s wedding, so we were on the go quite a bit, but our limited down time was very relaxing, especially on the screened in back porch. Just a lovely little home. Host was very responsive to our communications prior to checking in. We would definitely stay again for our next family event in that area.

This was a quick and first getaway of 2020 with our family of six. we were very excited about this house and location and were very impressed. It is cozy with all the necessary amenities. The family is wonderful and are excellent hosts. We enjoyed the little town and explored nearby parks. Apple orchards and even Niagara Falls. I highly recommend staying here.

Coworker Getaway

This home offered a warm inviting atmosphere . Many amenities were provided for our use . I prefer a wood fire pit but the propane one that was provided created a lovely ambience. .

Rural Scenery and Townie Fun

This was a well-laid out house, freshly redone, walkable to town, views of the bay and short drives to natural spots. We hiked, biked, kayaked and ate a lot together after! There were lots of farm stands, so we had fresh tomatoes and squash and apple pie. The host was very accommodating.. There is no cable but luckily I had my laptop and there was an HDMI cord so we live-streamed the Bills game. We'd definitely go back!

Fantastic central location - everything you could need - very clean and comfortable!

Loved this Place!! We found the first floor layout with screened porch & side yard, outdoor gas firepit with seating, and comfortable living room perfect for our family gathering! Bedrooms and bathrooms very comfortable and clean. The carpeted stairs are quite steep so you need to be careful. Very adequate and clean kitchen space, includes all dishes, cookware & supplies - kitchen is open to the dining room. There are places to store your stuff on the enclosed front or back porches, or pantry / laundry area. Large driveway area to park (or kids ride bikes!) This home is on a nice short, quiet parkway with just a few homes and view of the bay. It was perfect for our supervised littles to ride their bikes! Decor was charming throughout! Fresh relaxing colors, and some of the coolest driftwood pieces everywhere! Linens in great shape. We appreciated access to the garage to store our bikes. The red beach wagon was a God-send for us as we went to the park, playgrounds and beach every day. Those and the restaurants, bars, ice cream places, gas station shop, churches and the post office are just a short walk away, with great views to enjoy as you go. Dorothea was helpful and welcoming. Thanks for an AWESOME STAY! Highly recommend this VRBO!

We are Dorothea and Mike Hillis and become the proud owners of this home in August 2019. This house one day will be the place where our grandchildren come to visit us, but for now we look forward to hosting families and friends from all around while on their vacations.
My husband and I, along with our two daughters have lived around the Sodus Point area all our lives. Lake Ontario and Sodus Bay are part of some of our most cherished memories as kids and as a family.
As your hosts, we welcome any and all feedback! We are here to help make your stay memorable and enjoyable.
