Thanksgiving Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in the blue ridge mountains. Sitting around the fireplace and relaxing with the beautiful view was exactly what we needed. Our kids enjoyed the visit and felt at home. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to prepare a full Thanksgiving meal! Thank you!

Cabin was as advertised. Clean, fully stocked with all the essentials, nice view, + extra touches with firewood in the fire pit, nice hot tub. Struggling to find anything to point at being subpar- only suggestion would be to get a tv for the main floor/sitting area. Overall great value for $, organized and helpful information from the host.

Quick get away!

This was our first time using VRBO, so I do not have other experiences to compare to. However, our stay was wonderful. My hubby and I booked the cabin for a quick weekend away. We were very pleased with everything about the trip. Apple Maps took us right to our destination without any issue. The cabin was so cute, very clean, and well equipped. Jason is clearly a very thoughtful host. The information he provided was clear and concise, and included everything- information for the cabin, local places to eat, as well as different activities that are nearby. He was also very accessible by call or text if there were any issues or concerns. We thoroughly enjoyed our quick Georgia adventure, and are taking about returning again with our kiddos :)

Great view and convenient to Blue Ridge!

While this is a cozy, warm cabin with real, wood-burning indoor fireplace as well as an outdoor fire pit -- and those are GREAT features - we would have to say that the view was #1! You can have amenities in a lot of stays, but you can NOT always have a view like this. Even in the dead of winter, it was gorgeous! And the sun sets right behind the mountains. The hot tub and the well-equipped kitchen were great, too! A couple of things to be aware of: Stairs are a bit inconsistent outside, and the indoor stairwell is a bit narrow with a head-bumper at the bottom for tall folks. The biggest bedroom and bed (really tall king!) are on the lower level - downstairs from the entrance. The back main floor bedroom (queen) has the best bedroom view. The two bathrooms - one on each level - are outside the bedrooms. Jason is an excellent host and communicator. Notes, instructions, and recommendations are thorough and easy-to-read. Thanks for an excellent time, Jason, and we hope to be back soon!

Great stay!

My family and I loved our stay. We were there for a long softball tournament weekend and the hot tub definitely helped us wind down at the end of the day. We even had some deer and some turkey mosey their way across the backyard while soaking in the view. Love our time and would stay again!

Almost heaven!

This mountainside cabin is without a doubt, one of the finest secrets on the Vrbo site… Jason the owner was the perfect host and everything was better than described online… From the moment we arrived till the day we sadly had to leave it was one of the best retreats, the person could ever desire… The home is immaculate. It is extremely well provisioned. The view is to die for and it is a quiet solitude.

Relaxing Escape

My Husband and I took a quick kid-free getaway to this cozy cabin and it was exactly what we needed. The view was beautiful and we were able to enjoy some time in downtown Blue Ridge due to its close proximity. Jason was an amazing & attentive host. The cabin is well stocked with anything you would need plus more. It was clean and decorated with thoughtfulness and the perfect cabin feel! We enjoyed our time immensely!

Rest and relax

The best way for me to summarize our 4 night stay is, we didn't want to go back home. Usually we are ready to get home after being away for 4 nights but I can honestly say that my wife and I both agreed that we could have stayed for weeks if I had the vacation time. You won't find a better host than Jason. He takes pride in the ownership of this cabin and it shows. All the great things people have said in past reviews are true. I usually don't take the time to submit reviews, but this was a cabin worth telling people about. Every night and morning we sat on the porch just staring at the mountain range and enjoying the total peace and quiet. The cabin was immaculate and we will be coming back to stay at this particular cabin again. Thank you Jason for sharing your little piece of heaven with us.
