It is full of charm and character with stone floors, exposed wooden beams, and tasteful French antique furniture.

Discretely tucked away on a narrow lane a few steps off Meursault`s main village square, La Petite Maison is conveniently located to access shops, cafes, restaurants and a weekly market. The perfect scenario for a romantic getaway in the heart of Burgundy’s world famous vineyards!

The cottage has the possibility to be inter-connected to a second double bedroom which is part of the main home. This bedroom has also been furnished with beautiful fabrics, wallpapers and French antiques, and has its own en-suite shower room.

Features of La Petite Maison include:

• A fully equipped kitchen including a multi-function oven and electric hob , fridge, microwave, coffee machine and dishwasher
• A round dining table for 4.
• Cosy living space with antique furniture, large comfy sofa, flat screen TV receiving UK and French channels, WIFI, and wood burning stove.
• A spacious double bedroom also furnished with beautiful French antiques, ample storage space and a large en-suite shower room. Hair dryer.
• Washing machine/dryer
• A courtyard, with fresh growing herbs, has outdoor furniture, ideal to reflect over your day`s experiences. Naturally, with a glass of wine in hand!
• A `starter pack` of basics which typically includes: milk, sugar, tea, coffee, bottled water, salt & pepper, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar.
Essentials: hand soap, toilet rolls, kitchen paper, foil, cling film, bin bags, matches, paper napkins.
• All bed linen, towels, and cleaning products.
• Cot and high chair available on request.
• For stays of two weeks or more, we include a mid-stay clean and change of linen

A very cute little place in the center of Meursault. Steve, the property manager was very helpful.

Easy as could be and we were able to add a day at the beginning of our stay with a simple e-Mail to Steve.

Ideal Burgundy

Could not find a better house in a better town. This romantic house is perfectly located in a classic French town with plenty of places to eat and explore. Easy to walk and bike from as located right next to the center and near the bike path to the beautiful vineyards. The caretakers are very helpful and go out of their way to ensure all is perfect. 8 km to Beaune. You can not go wrong with this place.

Fantastique La Petit Maison

We had a great time here. Fantastic apartment, well appointed and beautifully situated La Petit Maison was an absolute delight. Firstly, my interactions with Steve were fantastic. The information he provided was top notch and he solved an significant issue for us, re the delivery of my wife’s driving licence, with a minimum of fuss. LPM is in the middle of a Chardonnay/Pinot Noir belt, close to Volnay, Pommard, Puligny Montrachet and Santenay amongst others. Great walking and great cycling very close by. Dijon, Lyon and Beaune are within driving/train distance and we were kept busy for the three weeks we were there for. But I digress, if you want to stay right in the middle of Meursault, near great restaurant’s and fantastic wineries, LPM is it. Thanks Steve and Jill, we’ll be back.😀

Fantastisch en super sfeervol stadshuis, smaakvol en compleet

Bij het binnenstappen gelijk een thuisgevoel, heel gezellig en van alle gemakken voorzien, bijzonder was een mandje met brood en ander lekkers. Prachtige slaapkamer, mooie lakens, mooie badkamer.

Great little cottage in great location

We stayed for seven nights and found the property to be very well equiped and maintained. The was nothing else we could have asked for. The welcome pack is great touch and the guide book is very useful. Meursault was the right spot for us as it is well enough serviced but close enough to everything we wanted to access. Completely recommend the cottage.

La Petite Maison is owned by Australian wine connoisseurs Anthony, and his wife Kay. They have a long held a passion for France, and in particular, Burgundy’s gourmet specialities and famous wine

Our property is managed by Steve and Jill Powell owners of Location Burgundy, specialists in the management of holiday home rentals in Puligny- Montrachet, Meursault, Cissey, Pommard and Beaune.

Steve and Jill have lived year round in Santenay since 2018 and took over the Location Burgundy business, which has been in existence since 2006, at the start of 2019.

Why they chose this property

All part of the same Chez Hall property but set in its own garden courtyard, La Petite Maison was a vine workers cottage. It had been seriously damaged by fire several years before we bought Chez Hall but fortunately the stone walls and framework remained intact. Perfectly placed, right in the middle of Meursault, we saw the potential to create an independent, one bedroom cottage that would make a charming rental home for wine lovers visiting the area.
