HD Acres - Rustic Retreat near Road America and Kohler Golf

A quarter-mile drive into the woods will bring you to our homestead that's situated on 40 acres that has it all -- ponds, woods, grass, trails and orchards. You'll feel like you're away from it all but you're really close to local attractions. Just 8 miles from Road America, 10 miles to Kohler, and 10 miles to Whistling Straits.

The house features a large eat-in kitchen, 2 full bathrooms and 3 bedrooms with queen beds. The family room and kitchen feature large picture windows to take in the natural beauty of every season. The private backyard overlooks a small pond and includes a fire pit. The house has boiler heat with no duct work for central air. Portable AC units are provided during summer.

A Welcoming Retreat

Stayed with a group of friends for Road America. The house was exactly what we needed for a “home base” while we spent the weekend at the track. The property is lovely, only complaint I have is that I didn’t have time to spend more time outdoors there!

This is our second time staying at HD Acres and the cabin is a great place to stay if you are in town for Road America. Not too far away and it is a quiet, clean cabin on beautiful property. The host is great and very tenative. Thank you so much!

Race Team Track Weekend

Traveled to Road America for a weekend endurance race. Chose to stay off site and this cabin nestled in the woods was the perfect choice. Great place to stay, quiet, clean, and the owners are very nice. They take great pride and care of their property and it made our trip even more special. Thank you!

Rustic retreat was far from rustic!

Driving up the winding tree lined driveway was so pleasant - and when we walked in the house, we found a lovely, modern home. Everything was included (coffee maker, washer & dryer were very appreciated) to make our stay great. Lori communicated EVERYTHING to us well before we started our drive clearly and adjusted the bill when I discovered I had us coming a day earlier than we planned. The grounds were beautiful - landscaped, flowers around the house, pond with a frog. My travel buddy is a birder and enjoyed morning coffee “birding” from the kitchen window. We came for June Sprints and hope we can stay with Lori & family for the Runoffs Fall 2024!

Loved the house and the country location. Home was immaculate and exactly as pictured. Hosts were easy to work with. We stayed on a very hot weekend and the window air conditioners struggled to keep the house cool, but otherwise we had a great stay.

Great Oasis in Farm Country

What a great country setting to stay for a few days! It was like finding a great little oasis in the middle of farm country. The house was easy to find and within a 10 minute drive to Sheboygan Falls, Kohler, Plymouth and Elkhart Lake. It was perfect for a weekend getaway.

Get relaxing getaway

Great property and host, it was just a short drive from everything we wanted to see and do. The house was equipped with extra fans as no AC.!!opened the windows at night and a cool breeze was all we needed. Loved the chickens roaming the grounds. Next time we might as for eggs for our breakfast.
