This is a great pet friendly property. The space was clean and welcoming. Our neighbors in the wagon wheel home were nice however they were a much larger group than us and took over most of the common space at the river.

If you’re looking for a place to host a lot of people then this is it! Great location on River road! If you’re looking for a place where you can sit on the river and hang out this is an ok place. The water is a little deep and there’s no bank to just sit in chairs in the water and hang out. You can’t see the bottom so it’s hard to navigate. Just know you may have neighbors sharing the river access and not a lot of room to spread out. The house was clean with everything we needed. The AC has a hard time keeping up during the day, but the bedrooms were always cool. House was clean comfortable.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback! We’re glad to hear you found the home clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and enjoyed the convenient location on River Road. We also appreciate you sharing your experience with the river access and A/C. Our riverfront properties do have shared access, and the river conditions can vary depending on the location and water levels, so we appreciate you pointing that out for future guests. We’re happy the bedrooms remained cool and that you and your group had an enjoyable stay. We hope to welcome you back in the future! Thanks, NBE

Wonderful Cottage

My family was so pleased with the Texas Star cabin!! It was clean, very well-stocked with towels and kitchen equipment, and it had a huge dining table, so everyone had a place to sit and eat or play dominoes! There were also 4 chairs at the bar if you needed even more places to sit. The river access was perfect too. There was a drop-in place for tubes about 5 minutes upriver, and it took about 2 hours to float back to our cabin. Perfect! We would definitely stay there again.

Nice Home on the River!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Texas Star was a beautiful house. The outdoor area was well kept and beautiful. The management company were helpful and polite. We rented the house to take a little weekend vacation and try to catch some Guadalupe River Trout in January. It was a great experience and I would like to rent it again in warmer weather for kayaking. There is another house next door which was empty during our stay, but the outdoor area is so large I don't think we would have noticed if someone were there.

GREAT location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: the cabin was awesome. plenty of sleeping spots and lots of indoor space. the outside has a beautiful dock and spacious backyard. it's the perfect location next to Mountain Breeze Campground where you can enjoy a bar, sand volleyball, nighttime dancing, and burritos in the morning. The only think I would change is the entry to the river from the cabin. The dock is awesome but actually getting into the water is a challenge.

Sharing your vacation with strangers isn’t fun

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The description says you share river a dress with three houses. Well, you also share a yard with theee houses, meaning you get to share it either way their digs, music, children, cooking. First couple of nights we couldn’t let our own dog out because the neighbors had an aggressive dog who kept coming in our porch and backing at my kids and pooping g in our yard without the cleaning. The last night, a family brought a mini bike and was running it up and yard.the house itself was clean, but the experience was annoying.

River Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our multi-family group had a great time relaxing on the river! The kitchen was well-stocked and there was plenty of seating for everyone. A couple of trees in the yard were perfect for hammocks! Our boys loved the shady spacious yard and were outside all the time. Our only “gripe” was that we felt the need to clean kitchen supplies before using them - only one dishwasher tab is provided and it felt like maybe other guests had not brought any and just ran the dishwasher without soap. Counters in kitchen were clear, but not clean. Same with floors ... swept, but not mopped.Overall, it was a wonderful getaway for our family and friends?
