Beautiful renovated independent house with swimming pool and large enclosed garden

We are Serge and Françoise, owners of Maison Magnolia and will be happy to welcome you to our holiday home. You will feel at home there! During your stay we will remain at your disposal if necessary to help you best spend an unforgettable and relaxing holiday in the Lot et Garonne.

Our vacation rental is a 120 m² single storey house, certified 3 vacation keys.
Composition:
3 bedrooms each with a 140 cm bed. Dressing.
1 bathroom with bath and shower; cabinet with 2 basins. 1 separate WC
Sheets and towels included in the price.
Independent kitchen very well equipped with dishwasher and back kitchen.
Large living room with living room and lounge area: TV, DVD player, fireplace with wood insert.
2 additional TVs: one in the kitchen and one in a bedroom.
Wireless. Electric heating.
12 m² covered terrace with garden furniture. Fixed barbecue.
Fenced garden of 1600 m².
Private swimming pool in the shape of a bean, 12 m long and 4 to 6 m wide with a waterfall and an outdoor solar shower. The swimming pool is secure with an alarm and open from May to September (depending on weather conditions).
2 mountain bikes available.
Shops nearby: bakery, grocery store and butcher at 700 m, supermarket at 1.5 km
For babies or young children, we provide you with a free travel cot with mattress and sheets, a high chair, a changing table and a safety barrier.

This is a spacious 3-bedroom house, all on one level with a fantastic swimming pool. It is in a small village with a market and boulangerie an easy walk. There are lots of lovely bastide villages within easy reach. We ate all our meals outside in the covered seating arrangement, which was lovely, but we had mistakenly assumed from the pictures that this overlooked the pool, but it doesn’t.This is a shame as the best bit is the pool, even when we had bad weather there always gorgeous evening sunsets and we would have like to eat our evening meals there. Our grandchildren absolutely loved the pool.The house is well equipped; I was pleased to have gas hob to cook on and an oven – for warming the croissants! Even though it was in a separate area from the kitchen.We enjoyed our stay.

Lovely Area

The property is very nice, kept well, and in a great area for exploring real France. The garden is beautiful, well maintained, the swimming pool is a good size, interesting shape. BBQ was well used by us, with a lovely patio to eat at in the evening. The kitchen was well equipped. Francoise speaks very good English and is very friendly and accommodating. She drove around the town with us when we first arrived to give us a good heads up on the area. Walking distance to the town which is small, but has a butcher, 2 bakeries, 2 large supermarkets with the cheapest petrol in the area and a small Wednesday market. Only 10mins drive to Nerac a much larger town, with plenty of restaurants and a great Saturday market. I'd recommend this property. John and Jo Scott

House with beautiful grounds and pool

This property is 10 minutes walk (really) from a boulangerie, a small cafe, and the Wednesday market. Despite being very close to the village, the house was located in a quiet neighborhood. There was no vis-a-vis as the French say. That means the property is very private. The house is perfect for a couple or a small family with one child. Grounds are beautifully kept and the pool is impeccable. Lavardac is exactly 8 minute drive away from Nerac with all of its commerce and restaurants. You can easily use the property as a home base to drive to all the different medieval villages which range from a 10 minute to 40 minute drive. We enjoyed our stay.

Nous avons passé des très bonnes vacances dans la maison Magnolia. Tout était bien en ordre et l'accueil de Françoise et Serge était parfait. La grande piscine est magniqfue pour se baigner à tout moment de la journée. L'intérieur est beau et bien aménagé. La voie verte est un atout en plus.Deux petites suggestions: un parasol auprès de la piscine pour pouvoir manger aux deux tables et un peu plus de couteaux pour s'il y a 6 personnes. Merci!

Lovely property in Lavardac

I just spent 11 weeks in this wonderful house, enjoying the fantastic, and very private swimming pool and spacious house/yard/garden. I could not have asked for a better stay. The hosts Francoise and Serge are charming, attentive and responsive. They regularly checked in with me to ensure all was well, and performed yard and pool maintenance throughout my long stay. The house is very comfortable and provisioned with everything you could need for your vacation there. The beds and linens were super comfortable (important to me), and I could not get enough of the views from every aspect. Lavardac is a small and charming village, with 2 boulangeries/patisseries, a cafe, pharmacies,, i was a happy attendee at the weekly Lavardac marche, as well as the nearby Nerac marche. Nerac is 7 minutes drive from Lavardac, a larger town with restaurants, shopping, and lots of historical charm. So all amenities you might need are close by. This property is within easy striking distance of an embarrassment of riches as far as beautiful villages and towns in the Lot Garonne (a few not to be missed are Agen, Pujols, Condom, Vianne, Villeneuve Sur Lot) and of course Bordeaux and Toulouse. Last but not least, the swimming pool…my refuge during the heat, and lying in the shade of the gorgeous Magnolia tree. It was all pretty magical. I am forever greatful to Francoise and Serge that I was able to call this place home for 3 months.

Un séjour parfait

Nous étions une famille de 4 personnes avec 2 enfants de 5 et 8 ans. La location correspond parfaitement à la description. Il y a même plus de terrain qu'il n'y paraît. Les hôtes sont très sympathiques et très disponibles. La piscine est magnifique, la maison est propre et le matériel de bonne qualité. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.
