We will be back!

The house is spacious with a great open concept and great views of the lake. The lake was quiet, there were days when we were the only people on it. Location was far enough out of town to provide a peaceful feel, but close enough to easily run in to town if needed.

Perfect Women's Weekend Getaway

Had an amazing time on this property. Six women (plus one that drove over everyday) enjoyed the massive living space and the beautiful view. House had more that we imagined and all kinds of the extras that we didn't expect. Fully equiped kitchen. Absolutly everything you could want/need to cook or BBQ which us ladies love to do.

Family Vacation

We celebrated our 45th Wedding Anniversary with our two sons, daughter-in laws and 4 Grandchildren ages 9 yrs to 9 months. The location and house fit our family's needs perfectly. The use of the sailboat, fishing boat, kayaks and canoe all a plus. We loved that the lake was quiet and loved the loons. Katherine was great to work with and answered all our questions. We all voted to do a return trip in a couple of years.

Return trip!

We had an awesome return trip to Loon Lake! Last summer after our 1st stay our family decided to make it a trip for every other year, but in December we decided why mess with perfect! Our family loves the lake and the house. Plenty of space for all. Katherine & Justin are always so helpful with answering questions. The Grandkids love playing in the sand and using the kayaks. We also enjoyed a couple meals of fish and brought some home. Great family memories made and to talk about this Winter and years to come.

Lovely lake

Great cabin. The place was amazing. Large and exactly like the photos. Huge yard with tons of space for lawn games. We brought volleyball, corn hole, soccer and bocce ball. Dock was great for boat we rented. Small sand area fun for the kids. Only bummer was all the weeds off dock- kids would not swim there. We just took boat out to middle of lake and anchored and swam which worked just fine. This was a great place for 2 families/ 10 people total. Bonus was the raspberry bushes were ripe and the kids loved it! Would highly recommend!

Fantastic Property On The Lake

This was the perfect place for a long weekend with our daughter and her family. There was plenty of room to spread out and everyone could enjoy some privacy plus gathering areas were large enough for everyone. The house was clean and literally had everything you need to just step inside and feel at home. The childproofing and added toy area for little ones was the perfect final touch for us. We caught lots of fish (a few right from the dock). Overall we made wonderful memories to last a lifetime. For reference, there were 4 adults and 3 kids ages 2-7. Also the property owner was very quick to respond to all my questions prior to our arrival.

We absolutely loved staying here! My kids loved waking up and going straight to fishing and having a huge yard to play in. This house was absolutely beautiful and definitely set up for familys. We were close enough to town but still far enough away to enjoy deer coming in to eat apples off of the trees.

This was such an amazing trip for our family, we definitely made a lot of great memories. There was so much to do right on the property and we found that we way over packed because they had everything from floaters, sand toys, life jackets and kayaks. The house was fully stocked with an array of different necessities. The furniture was clean and comfortable and with 10 of us there the entire week we never felt like we needed more space. The out side property was equally as spacious and we really appreciated the private beach area. We also loved the sauna. Our family hopes to return next summer! I would encourage any large families to utilize this property seriously all ages will find something to do. Also,Grand Rapids is only 10 minutes away and has all the stores, restaurants and breweries right there. We loved the Forest History Center they even have a children’s museum.
