Great place to stay

This is our fourth time staying at these condos, love the view and the grounds are maintained nicely. Vrbo and Knutson & Assoc. were great to work with.

We loved the location of the condo. It was easy to get anywhere on the island. Our favorite spot was the lanai, and enjoying the view and sound of the waves. The pool and bbq area were great and we used them often. Would definitely recommend and hopefully stay here again.

Month long stay

Loved this condo... It is right on the beach and very close to Kona Town and everything else you may want to do on the island. The owners are very responsive to any issue you may have and that was really appreciated. Very nice stay.. Will definitely stay here again if we are lucky enough to come back to Hawaii.

Wonderful Oceanfront Condo

This was a wonderful oceanfront condo. It was exactly as listed. We had a beautiful view of the sunset everyday. The condo was well stocked with extra items for beach days as well. Check in was extremely easy. They even left my husband and I a special card/gift bag since we were there celebrating our 10 year anniversary. I would highly recommend this condo.

Easy spot to relax & make homebase while we adventure out

Comfortable and great ocean view from the lanai; condo did get pretty hot for us regardless of fans and leaving door/windows open however we were there over a heat wave. For those that don’t know the area; this is not a swimable beach however Magic Sands is close. A good location to be a little out of busy town. All and all easy and affordable! Hard to go wrong with that 😊 thanks for sharing!

Breathtaking View, close to great sights and beaches.

Great location! The view from the balcony is why I booked it. We ate breakfast every morning on the balcony and of course enjoyed the sunsets as well. The apartment has everything you need just no full size oven only a counter top toaster oven. The bed is VERY firm as it states in the description but the mattress topper provided helps to soften it up. It gets very warm there are a couple fans that help but the bedroom gets the warmest in the whole condo. Overall a great place to stay and the view just can’t be beat!

Awesome Rental

This was our 1st time using VRBO and I could not have had a better experience anywhere. The condo was very clean and had everything you needed. Loved how peaceful and quiet - never heard neighbor. The only noise was the ocean and birds - how amazing. The view was spectacular. we even had a whale put on a show right in front of the condos just at sunset, even though we were told this was too late in the season. The grounds were well maintained and the grills in perfect working order. Great location. Perfect vacation. Highly recommend this unit.

Excellent location on the Kona side of the Big Island!

This condo has a wonderful view of the ocean and falling asleep listening to the crashing waves is so lovely. Having coffee on the balcony every morning watching the ocean is so relaxing. The condo is very well stocked so definitely check there before you get your supplies for your stay. There is a ton of stuff to do in and around Kona and the location of this condo is very nice for going about those activities. The salt pool is really fun when the surf is up and barbecuing is a great way to meet other travelers. then you can sit on the edge of the lava wall and watch the surf come in...it's mesmerizing. I highly recommend this rental.

Beautiful views!

We spent most of our time on the lanai looking at the ocean, palm trees and sunsets. The view is great from the living room and kitchen as well. The walk in shower was really nice! The house was well equipped with kitchen stuff and outdoor gear including a couple of snorkel gear sets. Gorgeous vegetation around the buildings and a nice sandy spot in front of the shore with lounge chairs and palm trees. It's a shame we never got in the pool, it looked real nice with a recessed outdoor shower. The lockbox outside the door made it handy that we didn't have to tote the key around. The unobstructed view of the Pacific was heavenly. Mahalo

Enjoyed the sound of the waves

My husband and I had a great stay at the Kona Isle condo. The location is perfect - it is on the ocean, within walking distance to the main strip of restaurants and shops, and also near a Walmart which is great for picking up the odds and ends you need on a trip. The only thing I overlooked was there is no air conditioner which is not much of a problem since it was the end of October but I wanted to point it out; the upside to having the windows open the waves will help you sleep at night. There is an assigned parking space that comes with the condo so there is never an issue with finding parking. The washer/dryer in the unit is fabulous for doing a quick wash of swimsuits and towels. Since the Big Island is now our favorite I'm sure we'll be back in the future.

Home in paradise

Looking for a home base to explore the island or just for a place to relax and chill, you can't go wrong with this nicely remodeled and updated ocean front condo. The owners obviously use this unit themselves and all that you need is furnished: cooler, beach chairs and umbrella, boogie boards and swim masks, etc. Better than average cook ware and silverware, updated walk- in shower, good linens and towels. We felt very much at home here. The grounds and pool are well maintained and the view from the lanai is beautiful from sunrise to sunset. Barbeque anyone? Relax down by the water? Hunt for shells next door? It's all here. We love the complex (third time ) and this is definitely the unit to get if you can.

The owners thought of everything, including details like copious amount of laundry detergent packages, plenty of hangers. beach chairs, and a cooler with ice packs. Very clean and comfortable with great view of the ocean and sunset. Reserve parking is nice with plenty of space. Only oddity is kitchen doesn't have a full-size oven - just a toaster oven, so don't plan on making your Thanksgiving Turkey there. Other than that I would highly recommend. We had a very enjoyable time.

We enjoyed a wonderful two weeks at Kona Isle. The location of this condo is unbeatable, offering a spectacular ocean view. We even saw dolphins jumping and playing right out in front of us! We found this condo to be fairly well appointed. The bed was super comfortable and the linens and towels were plentiful and very nice. We love spending time at the beach when we're in Hawaii and did need to purchase a beach chair as there was only one that was usable. A pair of nice Tommy Bahama beach chairs (available at Costco) would be a welcome addition. It might also be worth noting that while a small, countertop oven is available, there is no regular oven. This can be important to keep in mind when planning meal preparation. Overall, our experience was fabulous and we would definitely stay in this unit again on another trip to the big island!

The ultimate ocean view awaits you!

We loved the view from this condo's lanai/balcony! If you enjoy the waves lapping the shore this is a visual and auditory delight. The picture posted of the view is exactly what you see. How much more could you ask for? But wait, there is more. The condo is the perfect get-a-way. The tasteful island decor sets the mood for a relaxing stay. From the dishes, kitchen utensils, closet of beach goodies, ice cooler to the cable tv, this condo has it all. It was a little warm because there is no air conditioning and the trade winds were not blowing as usual because of El Nino, but with fans and the windows open at night, we could sleep comfortably. During the day we were out exploring. My husband enjoyed the saltwater pool and I loved the heated outdoor pool. The barbeque on the beach area was easy to use. The owners supply lots of helpful information prior to the rental dates. This is a very relaxing place to call "home" away from home.We would definitely rent this condo again.

There is no AC and it was not needed at all -the ocean breeze kept the room plenty cool and it was in the upper 80's our entire trip. The room was clean and super stocked - more stocked with everything we needed and MORE. As other guests have stated - there seems to be an ant problem.. but you can see they are trying to handle it and we made sure to not leave any food out so we only saw a few. Hawaii is tropical and even though we have never experienced ants in our 15 plus past visits to Hawaii..we have experienced other insects so I would NOT take a star away - I wish I could book the room again but there is basically NO availability the rest of the year and the first of 2023 which is a huge BUMMER! Highly Highly recommend this room - just a great overall location and room.

Perfect view!

Our family (2 adults, 2 children) stayed on the Big Island for 3 weeks and chose this condo due to the stunning view. The location was wonderful…we were close enough to town that it only required a short drive. Sitting out on our lanai each morning and evening was our family’s favourite part of the trip. The island is gorgeous…we explored all parts and none of it disappointed. The unit was tidy, had many amenities, and the view was phenomenal. Hearing the waves all day and night is exactly what we were looking for. Kids slept on the pull out bed, which they said was comfortable. Bed in the bedroom was comfortable, but it was SO hot! Even with ceiling fan and multiple floor fans in the unit, we couldn’t escape the heat. We left the windows open to allow for cross breezes, but we all complained of being hot. I think air conditioning in the bedroom would have helped. The unit is close to many beaches, fun sites, shopping. If you want to be closer to beaches for lil kids, I would say to stay further north, but our kids liked the rocky beaches near us to explore so it worked for our family! Lots of surfers right outside our unit so it was nice to watch them each morning. Overall, we enjoyed this unit and would return!

The view couldn't be better. The condo was very comfortable, well outfitted for our needs. No AC, but we knew that going in. Lots of fans helped. No elevator, that detail I missed when booking, made it a challenge for us 65, but once inside the view made the climb worth it!
