Windswept Villas - Relax with your coffee or a drink on the balcony of this remodeled 3rd floor Condo with beautiful views of the ocean! Even better, wake up in the King size bed as you look out the 8ft. expansive glass doors as the morning sun rises up to meet the horizon. Whatever you choose, you’ll love the feeling of being at here at Once Upon a Tide! This building is directly beachfront with private access to the beach or our saltwater pool. Calm, relaxing atmosphere as you enjoy everything Surfside Beach has to offer. This unit has a fully equipped kitchen (both a regular & Keurig coffee maker), full bath, lots of storage and in-unit washer & dryer! Cable TV and high-speed internet to reach out to the outside world if you need to.... OR just sit back, watch the waves & dolphins and let time slowly relax both your mind and body. The sofa reclines on each end as you sit back at night and watch cable TV. Shelving on each side of the bed with outlets equipped to charge your devices while you sleep. Bluetooth speaker/light/night light/fans allows you to listen to you favorite tunes while showering or soaking in the tub. Beach chairs included with rental. Once you’re here, you’ll never want to leave! Unfortunately there is NOT an elevator and the unit is on the 3rd floor. However the view is worth every step!!!!

Walking distance to Piers, restaurants and beach shopping or just a short drive away from Murrells Inlet, dubbed the Seafood Capital of South Carolina; where you’ll find a wide variety of seafoods, steaks, pizza and even burgers, as you dine while looking out over the Inlet and Marsh as the sun goes down. You can even stroll down the Marsh Walk and listen to a variety of bands/music.

Just bring a few necessities, the one you love, and enjoy your best vacation ever at Once Upon a Tide! Sorry, no pets allowed. Additionally, plug-ins are being for those who are sensitive or may have allergies to scented products.

Windswept Villas is a small condo building boasting only 12 units. Unfortunately, there is NOT an elevator. Additionally, due to HOA Bylaws, each unit has one(1) parking space per unit and guests cannot invite others to park on the property, use the pool or use the beach access.”

Picking up the college kid!!

Wife and I came down to pickup our daughter at Coastal Carolina. The unit was wonderful as was the beach and beach view. Unit was as listed and we’ll be coming back!!

The condo was beautiful, and very clean. Only negative was that there was no elevator. 45 steps to go up and down was a little difficult.

Once upon a Tide

Clean wonderful host. Door to enter does stick. Have to nudge with hip each entry quite aggressively. Villa comfortable gorgeous view. Everything needed supplied. Only issue about 50 steps no elevator. With a lot of belongings difficult on 70 year olds. Host BERY pleasant and responsive

Paradise

Literally, paradise. Teresa was a fabulous host- very accommodating. The condo is exactly what we need when we need to get away. The location on the coast is perfect- we can sit on our balcony and people/wave watch very comfortably but we can’t keep ourselves from walking up and down the beach! There’s plenty to do in the area but we can’t seem to find ourselves wanting to do ANYTHING except walk the beach!

The condo is exactly as advertised!! Perfect location...incredible view and clean as clean could be. I had everything I needed for my stay. The best part was Teresa!!! My flight got in at 8:30am and departed at 9pm. She allowed me to check in early and stay late. Will definitely be staying here again!!!

Lovely weekend

We had such a nice long weekend. The condo is exceptionally clean, the bed is comfortable, and the view is amazing. Teresa (property owner) was communicative and efficient with any and all important information. There were plenty of good quality towels provided, along with sheets and all the other odds and ends you need that are hard to pack/remember. Several restaurants are within walking distance with many more a short drive away. Surfside is a great little beach and we certainly hope to return!

Home away from home!

Big enough for a couple, comfortable, welcoming, relaxing, excellent view, and most of all CLEAN! My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Once Upon a Tide condo. The weather wasn't on our side as it rained most of the time but this place offered the comforts from home to stay in and watch movies. Nice reclining couch, great view of the ocean, a very comfortable bed. Communication with Teresa was excellent, she was always available responding to any and every question I had. This place is close to many good restaurants. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will be coming back soon. Thank you Teresa for having this amazing place!!!

A little piece of heaven

Teresa is a top VRBO host! She immediately reached out after the booking with arrival information. She was available, if needed, during the stay. Communication on departure was perfect. The condo was amazing. Yes you have to climb three floors of stairs, as described in the listing, but gosh is it worth it for that view!!! You can watch sunrise from the bed or with a cup of coffee on the deck. Everything in the description of the property is accurate, however, you just have to see the view for yourself to believe it! The condo was well maintained. It was very clean and the decor was perfect. The host has written instructions for the tv as well as food recommendations around the area. The neighbors were so nice. The surrounding area is very well kept and you feel safe. If you like to walk you can head down to the beach, which is steps away, or out your front door. Both are great options. We saw five dolphins between sunrise and lunch and three dolphins just before sunset. The pool was in great shape and very clean. The beach was peaceful, not overcrowded. The condo has everything you need. It’s a perfect getaway.

Windswept Villas one of the friendliest places to stay in Surfside Beach. We are a smaller complex with only 12 units. Many renters have been coming yearly for more than 10 (+) years. All unit owners love meeting and interacting with all the guests and hope we make everyone feel like they are more than just a guest, but are part of our Windswept family!!!
