The Three Lions - Gatehouse of Barbençon

Unusual architectural setting offering comfort and a breathtaking view in one of the most beautiful villages of Wallonia. Rich cultural past, hiking, fishing, cycling, water sports and more. Only 10 minutes away from the lakes of l'Eau d'Heure and 35 minutes away from Brussels-South airport. Our gîte “Les trois lions” overlooks the lake of Barbençon, and offers a breathtaking view on the lake and its surroundings. With , it ideally accommodates families, groups of friends and colleagues. The gîte offers two bathrooms, three bedrooms of 2, 3 and 4 persons respectively, a living-room with two sofa beds, a fully furnished kitchen, and a large terrace. Entirely renovated, the Gîte of the Three Lions accommodates families, groups of friends and colleagues up to 9 guests.

Bedroom 2 (3pers): double bed 160x200cm; loft bed 90x200cm
Bedroom 1 (4pers): 2 single beds + 1 bunk bed (90x200cm)

Ons verblijf was fijn, we hebben genoten van het mooi verbouwde huis met fijn terras en het mooie uitzicht . Het was echter niet zo schoon vooral de keuken niet en in hoeken waar je iets minder snel kijkt. De zitbank was in slechte staat en zat erg naar

We hebben genoten van de rust die hier hangt in het gebouw en de omgeving. Prachtig zicht over het meertje. Ruime woonst met natuurlijk het prachtige decor van de vestings muren. Zeker de moeite waard om nog eens te boeken. Alle comfort aanwezig.

Relaxing gitte in the countryside

There were 9 of us there for the better part of two weeks and we all had a lovely time. Bathrooms were large and modern. It was terrific having a deck with a shaded picnic table for everyone to hang out. The pond is picturesque, if a little ripe, and the local walks and hikes are very pleasing. Renovations are ongoing: the place still needs some work, but overall it was very good.

Geweldige ervaring

Heel mooi huis direct aan het meer, prachtig uitzicht, lekkere buiten plek om lang te tafelen, spelletjes te spelen, of te zonnen! Binnen is het ruim, met alle faciliteiten voor een succesvolle vakantie! Zoals: goede oven, genoeg keukengerei, twee tafels, kamers met uitzicht en lekkere bedden. Ook muziek kunnen draaien dus niet gehorig! Al met al dus een geweldige ervaring. Bedankt Hugues!
