Everything was great. We are even talking about getting a bigger group together and staying here again when there is better weather! All in all, great stay!
We weren't sure what to expect because this property is unique...but we had an excellent time. Great space and location to spend time with a big family group. Loved being close to the water and spending time on the property and in the area.
We stayed two nights in the Woodcote and had a mini family gathering. The cottage was perfect. The grounds were beautiful. I would absolutely stay again.
It was wonderful to have our family stay together in one home! There's a number of bedrooms and enough bathrooms too. The great room is a perfect place for larger gatherings. Lovely setting too!
We used the space for a memorial service for my brother. The space was clean and perfect for the event--especially having the folding tables and chairs.
This house is a perfect rental for our Christmas party. This is the 3rd time rental for us. The house is clean. The fireplaces add some extra warmth. Highly recommend
We enjoyed walking through the park; spreading out in this facility for games, puzzles, crafts, and chatting; and having plenty of room to set up food for our extended family. Thank you for providing this nice space.

Woodcote
Needs a good cleaning!! Window sills are filled with dead bugs and spider webs .Is a beautiful place.
We had a family gathering at Woodcote. The atmosphere and furnishings were very relaxing and comfortable. The amenities were accurate as stated in the listing and everything needed was there. Those that we worked with were congenial and informative. We have stayed at Woodcote twice and plan to schedule again in the future.
Lowell park is beautiful- the river, recreation, flowers, wildlife. Lodge still feels secluded. Large indoor spaces and nice outdoor areas. Fire pit. Big kitchen. Plenty of parking. Parks dept was very supportive and helpful. Will go again! Close to town.
We greatly enjoyed our stay- especially having disc golf right out the door! The house was clean with lots of space. The upstairs bedrooms are divided by a small landing which makes it great for two families, as we each had a little section. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and grill. Tons of room for the kids to play on the property. We’ll be back this fall!
We love Woodcote! We have enjoyed several stays there. Our one ongoing struggle with the rental is that the fire wood is wet and there is no kindling or paper provided. A key feature to Woodcote in the winter is sitting by a fire in the beautiful fireplace but it is very difficult to get a fire going and keep it going.
I grew up in Dixon but don’t have family living there anymore. My brother had recently passed away and we had his service & Celebration of Life in town and had several family members coming from out of town/state. It was absolutely perfect for our needs! Not only did it accommodate our large group, it gave us a beautiful, peaceful location to all be together opposed to 6 or 7 hotel rooms with no gathering place. Not to mention the benefit of being able to take walks through the gorgeous park. Bringing linens etc was some extra work, yes, but well worth it. Would do it all over again!
