About Jenny Kirgis
My husband I bought this property over 15 years ago. It has brought our family and friends so many wonderful memories over the years. We started renting the cabin about 8 years ago. We have received the best guests; they treat our little dream cabin like their own home. We hope you will to and create some amazing memories. Most of all, we want you to come back.
Jenny Kirgis purchased this Chateau / Country House in 2000
Why Jenny Kirgis chose Pine
We chose this property because of the seclusion and the fact that the entire back yard is a national forest! The wildlife watching fascinated still does today; never get's boring.
What makes this Chateau / Country House unique
Privacy, old world cabin feel, yet all the amenities of home. Close to nature, town, shopping, brewery, dining, medical facilities, library ...

Great cabin in the middle of the woods
Perfect cozy cabin!
The owners are fantastic and attentive. The cabin was the perfect size for my husband and I our kids (6 and 8 year old) and our dog. It was such a peaceful and relaxing weekend.
Hidden cabin but with city amenities
Nice quiet neighborhood, this cabin is tucked way back at the end of a cul-de-sac, backing to the forest. This was our first time renting a cabin and with the experience we'll definitely do it again.
The owners have a drawer of toiletries in the bathroom, so if you forget anything, it's there! We didn't need anything but that was cool to find.
The kitchen not only had dishes, but also a keurig with extra coffee pods. We brought our own coffee and filters, so we just used the normal coffee pot, but again - choices were awesome.
Internet, games, patio with chairs - we spent most of the weekend on the back patio just watching nature...and a family of deer (we think?) passed by - at least 15 of them, so beautiful.
The Early Bird is a breakfast place nearby with incredible country fried steak, and THAT brewery had an awesome burger with mushrooms for the buns.
Great experience, great people, glad we took this much needed weekend :)
Several problems with this property
We were warned that there is no Air Conditioning in this property. However when we arrived we found that there is a long stairway down to the cabin from the drive. My wife and I both have difficulty with stairs.
The television did not work.
The Internet did not work (could connect with the WI-FI but no internet connection.
Overall it was a big disappointment.
Just so relaxing ...back to the basics. Clean, cozy and charming ....
Great location and very roomy! :)
This cabin is in a great location and is very roomy and comfy. The surrounding deck gave us a choice of where we wanted to hang out, front or back. It has pretty much everything we needed for a great stay. We will definitely be back here. Thanks for a wonderful and peaceful time.
Thank you Olga for your wonderful feedback- please do come back and stay with us!
Pine Arizona is 83 miles NE of Scottsdale, (13 miles north of Payson). This area is nestled along The Mogollon Rim & and the cabin sits on an acre and half of lush forest that backs to the Tonto National Forest . If you enjoy relaxing in the outdoors and would like to take a break to be alone or reconnect with your family/friends, come visit the charming town of Pine Arizona. Plenty of hiking, fishing, horseback riding, yoga, massage, or just read a book on the deck. The small town provides the right amount of restaurants, antique shops, and seasonal town festivals. Sedona is approx. 65 miles from Pine-a great day trip to take !
