Papakea G301 is a 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom beautifully decorated “Hawaiian Style” condo that sleeps up to 4 guests. Enjoy ocean views from your private lanai. This condo offers an updated, fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, perfect for dining in-house. Stay cool with a window A/C in the main living room area, and ceiling fans throughout. Entertainment includes TV in the living room and bedroom equipped with cable and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the condo.

The bedroom features a King size bed as well as a TV. In the living room, you will find a Queen size sleeper sofa for additional guests. This condo also has a private washer and dryer for added convenience.

There are beautiful beaches within walking distance. Enjoy swimming, snorkeling, turtle spotting, boogie boarding, paddle boarding, and whale watching (during whale season) from this ultimate Maui property. Each evening, tiki torches light up the grounds for an exquisite Hawaiian tropical ambiance.

*** Notice of Property Plumbing Project:
- Papakea Resort is performing a property-wide extensive plumbing project and you may hear some noise during this time. Work in this unit begins July 10th, 2025, with an estimated completion for this unit projected on or around August 7th, 2025.
- Standard work hours for this project will be from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday unless authorized for weekend work.
- Contractors will be present on the property to begin quieter preparatory tasks as early as 7:00 AM.
- To minimize possible disruption, louder tasks will not start before 10:00 AM.
- Dates are subject to change. Not all units will be affected at the same time.
- We have been notified that the project is pending completion around June 2026. We have decreased rates during these dates to compensate for any inconvenience. ***

**Notice: Jackhammering will be occurring Monday, October 20th through Thursday, October 23rd. This is permitted with 72 hours' notice and between the hours of 10am to 3pm only.

Papakea Resort offers lush tropical landscaping, koi lagoon ponds, oceanfront saltwater pools, hot tubs, shuffleboards, golf greens, pickleball, and tennis courts! It is located just North of the famous Ka'anapali Beach. Walk to nearby local shops, cafes, restaurants, and grocery stores. It is a quick drive to Whalers Village and many of Maui's top beaches like Kaanapali, Napili Bay, and Kapalua Bay. Parking is free for one vehicle; additional vehicles are $5/day. This fee is collected by the Resort's Front Desk staff upon arrival.

Great space, great view and close to everything!

Everything was great inside while we stayed. Great kitchen space, comfortable bed, view was exactly as described! If I was to say anything, the only small complaint would be that the fountain in the pond could be loud at night. Mahalo!

Pleasant resort with nice location

Papakea is a very pleasant resort with an oceanfront but no beach. It is very close to shops and various eateries including food trucks and a restaurant in the resort next door. It has pretty grounds and is well looked-after. The apartment is mostly comfortable with a nice view over the central landscaped area. Our one complaint would be that the bed is much too soft with a thick foam mattress topper which makes you quite hot and is not very comfortable. Otherwise, we had a great stay at Papakea.

Cannot recommend THIS SUITE. NO SAFE which created a problem because had to take drivers licenses, credit cards & other personal valuables whenever left suite. Also, stall shower was gross - mold, dirty & broken grout. Little ants counters clean.

needs work

The overall property as usual was great, however, the unit needed help, cleaning before we arrived was less than we expected. The furniture was pretty much worn out, the bottom drawer to the dresser in the bedroom fell apart when my wife pulled it out. The multiplicity of remotes for the TV's was an issue (took us a few days to figure out). Next time will stay in a different unit.

To start, booking with MyPerfecrStays is absolutely the way to go on Maui. They have multiple resorts they service and have amenities that are incredible, including someone who will help you schedule attractions/excursions. We unfortunately didn't get to utilize that this time due to prior made plans! The only issue we had was our room was not clean or maintained by the property owner. The floor tiles are broken and we walked in to a room that had socks left by the last guest, water bottles left from the last guest, and things of that nature. Aside from the cleanliness, we had absolutely no issues. This is a great location that I truly believe doesn't get enough attention. Great place for family vacation!

Outdated and not clean

Overall the resort is well maintained but the unit we stayed in is definitely old and outdated. The place is not clean and needs a complete remodel. There were cockroaches and some towels had stains. Everything felt like it was going to fall apart. For the cheap price, it was passable to stay in for a week if you're not picky but I would not stay here again. I had a last minute cancelation and had to scramble to find this place. I can see why it was still available at this late date.

The location was great. Amenities were nice, however the room itself was literally disgusting. The linens weren't very clean (had to do loads and loads of laundry because of this). There were bugs everywhere. I've traveled several times and even lived in Hawaii and even at the super cheap places, I've never encountered as many bugs as I did in this room at this resort. Please do a better job of cleaning/ spraying. I was not happy with my stay and actually felt quite ready to check out when it was time. Will not stay here again! The price is outrageous for the quality of stay you get!

This place was not a winner for us. The kids liked the pool, and it was right on the water, but the beach is not swimmable. The fountain was super loud. So loud that it drowned out the sound of the waves and made it unpleasant to sit on the lanai. So that right there kind of puts a damper on things. Also had to sleep with windows shut because of fountain. Curtains stained. Broken fan sitting in corner of living room. Only 4 forks in kitchen. Made it quite difficult to get a couple extra bed sheets. So, yeah really meh.

Condo in Maui

It was great having a condo for our stay with a full kitchen and washer and dryer. Location and accommodations were good. Grateful for the beach chair, towels and cooler. We were not aware of the additional $17/day fee but maybe missed this information in the listing. The location was good but I didn’t like the fountain outside our balcony. I preferred to sleep with the windows/sliding door open to enjoy the fresh air and listen to the ocean, but at times had to close the sliding door because the fountain was too noisy. We enjoyed the facilities at the resort as well, in the evenings.

The Maui Experience

My Partner was wowed by the condo due to the close proximity to the waterfront and she dreamed that it would be just like this. It was very convenient to have the laundry and kitchen in the unit. And for me it was a treat not to have to go to a timeshare update meeting. The neighbors in the surrounding areas were nice and the property is picturesque. We had a great experience!

Beautiful Maui getaway

Grounds were beautiful, ocean view was great. Very family friendly property with great proximity to restaurants and shopping. Condo was stocked with everything you need for a stress free vacation from beach chairs to cooking spices and much more! We had such a great time and can’t wait to go back!
