Grand Timber Lodge has the ski lodge ambiance you want when you visit one of the premier ski areas in the country!
Tucked between Peaks 8 and 9, Grand Timber Lodge has great ski-lodge appointed interiors and comes with all the amenities. With indoor and outdoor pools, four whirlpools, a sauna, steam room and a day spa there will be many options if you choose to take a break from the slopes.
This five-star resort has ski-in and ski-out access with short walks to Peak 8 and 9 chairlifts for the downhill skiers and snowboarders. For those skiers who did not bring their own equipment and need to rent equipment or need their equipment adjusted, the lodge has its own ski shop.
The lodge also has its own restaurant, spa, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, sauna, indoor and outdoor heated pools, fitness center and game room to keep both the adults and kids happy. To complete the package, the lodge has indoor heated parking (parking is accessible without having to go outside), a general store, four movie theaters for your families' private use (with hundreds of movie choices) and a business service center.
The unit has flat screen televisions, Blu-ray and free high-speed internet (WI-FI). More mundane amenities include a hairdryer, humidifier and an iron and ironing board. Laundry facilities are available on the resort premises.
Grand Timber Lodge has an excellent location - it is a short walk from the center of Breckenridge or, if you prefer, use Grand Timber Lodge’s very own shuttle to get back and forth from town.
The lodge has a great concierge center to assist every guest to plan and schedule their activities which are unlimited in the Breck area. Go bobsledding or dog sledding up to the Continental Divide, or spend an evening going to a replica gold mining camp and enjoy the sleigh ride to the camp under the brightest stars you have ever seen. At the camp, you will enjoy the striking surroundings as well as be provided with a great meal and entertainment. Ice skating, tubing, snow-shoeing and cross-country skiing are all just a short distance away. The fun opportunities go on and on!
Another positive is the town of Breckenridge! The many fantastic restaurants, shops, displays and open park spaces located on and about the Blue River (really just a large
stream that miners panned for gold back in the 1859 Gold Rush). Just strolling through this charming town is a day well spent. Also, Vail, Beaver Creek, Keystone, Copper and A-Basin are just a short drive away - purchase a combo pass and you can ski multiple resorts with the same lift ticket. With five peaks to choose from, however, most skiers feel little need to leave Breckenridge to challenge their skiing skills.
