Relaxing Beach Getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, almost five weeks long. Literally everything was easy and hassle free. The host welcomed us the first day and after that was immediately responsive to our questions and a special request.
The upper level of this house felt spacious and struck the right balance of chic/beachy. The deck was bright and breezy and even tho busy rtA1A is right there, it was fun to be up above the walkers and any traffic (mostly cars) with a beverage in hand. The kitchen and laundry had everything you would need to function as you would at home. There were plenty of towels and linens are provided.
The large downstairs hallway was great for leaving luggage, jackets and sandy shoes.
The road dead-ends at the beach access- only five houses down the street. The beach is gorgeous and starts with a wide swathe of dunes then a wide soft, white sand to the shore.
It’s only five miles to historic area so we visited several times to tour, eat or just stroll. We loved it.
As for eating, our standouts were Columbia, MoJo BBQ and Funkedelic Food Truck.
There were plenty of places to hike as well, all less than 15 miles from E St. Location. (Moses Creek, Washington Oaks, Anastasia State Park)
This place really checked all the boxes, from the nice accommodations to the general area and the multitude of things it had to offer. We plan to visit a new place every year, but if we were to make a repeat visit, this would be the place. Highly recommended.
