Great location

The location is great - very close to all the sites, you can basically reach everywhere by foot within around 30 mins. The subway is also very convenient if you want to take transition options.

Perfect Place for a Couple Days

I stayed here with my three friends for my birthday. It was in a nice location (close to metro), and was perfect if you are just looking for a place to sleep. The host was extremely helpful and very responsive to all our questions. Would recommend for a small group of friends, who don't mind being close to one another!

well-located and quiet

very well situed 1-bdrm apt was as pictured: comfortable loft bed (watch the low ceiling, I’m 5ft9 and bumped my head several times) plus double futon sofa bed in classic Haussmann bldg. We walked everywhere from the apt, which was helpful because of the transportation strikes. Bertrand is very responsive and we felt right at home. Very good value, too!

Great place

This apartment was just what we were looking for. It was definitely small but it fit all 4 of us 17/18 year olds for 4 nights. It had nice big windows so it never got too stuffy. It had a good shower and little kitchen too! The low price was a steal, especially considering the neighborhood and how many places we could walk to. One thing was it took a bit of time to find the wifi password, which we realized was on the underside of the box on top of the tv. Overall I loved my stay here and would stay again!

Loft bed in sane bedroom

This was advertised as an apartment that could sleep 4 - 2 couples in the same room. What was not made clear was that one of the beds was in a loft above the other bed with only a 2 foot clearance. Could not even sit up in the top bed. Sheets and duvet covers provided were damp. No soap.

Paris Vacation

The apartment was located in the 10th arrondissement and fairly close to a Metro line which made getting around Paris easy. The apartment is small by Canadian standards but the four of us were able to make it work. The loft bed was great but the double bed was on an unstable base. I flipped my husband out of it a couple of times getting up. Lol The small details in the kitchen were appreciated especially the duct tape. Thank you Bertrand for the stay.

We waited outside over an hour in the rain, trying to get a hold of the property manager

The pictures, online or a little misleading, we thought the couch was in a separate room from the loft bed, so there was really no privacy. Unfortunately, the bathroom was falling apart. There were tile pieces completely cracked and falling off at the base of the tub.

Great location but in need of TLC

Sigh. While this place has a wonderful location, it's not a very pleasant place to stay. The overhead lights don't work so the kitchen was almost too dark to cook in. There's no where to sit except two rickety chairs and an ancient square of deflated foam with a threadbare red thing over it. There are no closets or shelves or dressers to store anything-- we had to just leave all our clothes and things on the floor, and with four people in a small space for a week, things were not good. There are closets-- but they are 100% filled to the brim with dozens and dozens of ancient sheets, towels, etc. Like enough for the entire block. None of them fit well on the equally terrible "beds" which were foam. These towels and sheets and all other items in the flat were clearly purchased at a rummage sale in 1982. The place wasn't filthy, but it was just so old and gross that no amount of cleaning would fix it. Holes in the tile kind of things. The bathroom looked like someone might have wiped it down, but also leftover detritus from past guests (rusty nail clippers?). Someone kinda cleaned, but not very well. For under $1000 it could be very nice but there has been ZERO effort made towards comfort or aesthetics. There's a poster on the wall held up with duct tape. Yikes. Yes, it's small, but most places in Paris are small and I can deal with that if the entire floor isn't taken up by heaps of clothes and suitcases because there are NO FREAKING SHELVES OR DRAWERS.

le bien est bien situé mais aurait besoin d'une rénovation. trop d'affaires personnelles, congélateur rempli etc linge de lit taché, matelas et housse de matelas taché appartement trÚs sombre. nous sommes déçus nous nous attendions à un plus bel appartement-

Super Lage!

Die Unterkunft liegt in einem wundervollen Viertel von Paris, 10 min fußlĂ€ufig vom Gare du Nord entfernt. 30 min bis Montmartre und ebenfalls ca 30 min bis in die Innenstadt. Das Haus ist ein wunderschöner Altbau und gerade von innen frisch saniert. Die Wohnung ist grĂ¶ĂŸer als auf den Fotos zu sehen und bietet genug Platz fĂŒr 4 Personen. Es ist empfehlenswert, eine etwas höhere Schmutztoleranz zu haben. Ansonsten ist wirklich alles durchweg empfehlenswert! Check In und Check Out waren problemlos und die Kommunikation mit Bertrand schnell und unkompliziert. Ein toller Kurzurlaub in Paris. Danke Bertrand!

Bon emplacement, mérite rénovation

Placé à mi-chemin entre les stations Bonne Nouvelle et Chùteau d'Eau, ce petit appartement est trÚs pratique et doté d'une zone cuisine bien equipée et d'une excellente connexion internet. La vue sur un mur suggÚre une utilisation principalement pour dormir, donc la rénovation suggérée commencerait par les lits. Propriétaire est trÚs disponible et répond tout de suite aux messages.

Paris, wir kommen wieder â˜ș

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in Bertrands Wohnung. Sie liegt im ersten Stock und super zentral(jede Menge Metrostation sind fußlĂ€ufig erreichbar). Check in war problemlos und Bertrand jederzeit fĂŒr RĂŒckfragen zu erreichen. Auch wenn die Zimmeraussicht auf die nĂ€chste Hauswand viel Raum fĂŒr Phantasie lĂ€sst war die Wohnung schön ruhig, weil kein Straßenverkehr. Wir kommen gerne wieder â˜ș Liebe GrĂŒĂŸe von Familie Beckmann

Paris zu Fuß - von hier aus super

Die Wohnung liegt super, um viele Ecken von Paris zu Fuß zu erobern, ob rauf zu SacrĂ© Coeur oder runter zum Louvre. Das Viertel ist lebendig und vielfĂ€ltig. Die Wohnung ist zweckmĂ€ĂŸig, aber sehr ungepflegt - schade.

Authentisches Appartment in zentraler Lage

Wer eine einfache, kleine Unterkunft im Herzen von Paris sucht, um schnell und unkompliziert alle bekannten SehenswĂŒrdigkeiten der Metropole erreichen zu können, ist hier genau richtig. Es mag sein, dass - wie in anderen Bewertungen erwĂ€hnt - vor allem das Bad eine Renovierung nötig hĂ€tte und man es mit der Sauberkeit nicht so penibel nehmen sollte, aber es ist im Grunde alles da, entspricht der Beschreibung und funktioniert. Und bei diesem unschlagbaren Preis muss man Kompromisse eingehen. Auf dem Weg zur Metro liegen diverse Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und sowohl BĂ€ckereien als auch CafĂ©s und Restaurants laden zum Genießen und Verweilen ein. Auch wenn die Wohnung an einer recht belebten Straße liegt, ist es drinnen sehr ruhig, da die Fenster Richtung Innenhof liegen. Viel Licht kommt trotz der großen Fenster aufgrund der Höhe des GebĂ€udes leider nicht in die Wohnung. An GerĂ€uschen der Nachbarschaft darf man sich aber nicht stören, denn das GebĂ€ude ist recht hellhörig. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war ausgesprochen angenehm. Check-in und Check-out waren sehr unkompliziert.
