A family holiday home for local accommodation, located in the quiet center of the belfry, next to the church! A two-story country house with herb garden, backyard, balconies equipped with sun loungers and tea table, consisting of common room (flat-screen cable TV and free Wi-Fi), kitchen (electric hob and oven, microwave, refrigerator, kettle, blender, coffee maker and toaster), three bedrooms with sleeping capacity for eight people [Room # 1 with a king size bed, with option for a baby cot included, Room # 2 with a king size bed double and one single bed, Room # 3 with one double and one single) and two bathrooms. Served by bakery, supermarket, restaurant, pharmacy, health center and taxi rank within 100 meters! Public transport from the "Rodoeste" to the north of the island to Arco de São Jorge and to the south side to Funchal. It is 15 minutes from Funchal and 25 minutes from the airport by the motorway. 15 minutes from "Cabo Girão" by the regional road. 25-minute pedestrian access to Calhau da Lapa.

Perfect holiday accommodation .

The property was well equipped , clean and tidy and contained all that we needed. It was just as we had hoped from seeing the photographs. We were warmly welcomed by the hosts who met us at the property and greeted us with a glass of Madeira wine and biscuits. We found the location ideal for visiting all areas of the island using our hire car as we were only a few minutes from the main roads . A bakery opposite selling delicious cakes , bread and coffee and a small grocers added to the convenient location of this property - I would highly recommend.

Schöne Tage in Campanario

Wir hatten wirklich sehr schöne Tage in Capanario und waren auch sehr zufrieden mit dem "Haus der Mutter". Ein Wermutstropfen waren die unbequemen Betten die unserem Schlaf abträglich waren. Sie waren sehr hart und quietschten bei geringer Bewegung. Wahrscheinlich hätte man das auch ändern können denn Maria war sehr zuvorkommend und immer auf das Wohl Ihrer Gäste bedacht.

Wundervolle Ferien

Alles hat gestimmt. Wir haben uns in der Woche Vorort sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Lage des Hauses auf der Insel ist wirklich sehr zentral, wir konnten alle Sehenswürdigkeiten spielend leicht mit unserem Mietwagen erreichen. Der Bäcker und der Supermarkt auf der anderen Strassenseite sind sehr praktisch. Maria ist eine tolle Gastgeberin. Ich kann "Das Haus der Mutter" jedem weiterempfehlen, der einen individuellen, ruhigen Urlaub auf Madeira machen möchte.

This property was just as described .and perfect for our requirement

This was our first visit to Madera. We spent a month at the house,December thro January.The weather was perfect .Warm during the day and just a little cool in the evening. The owners were most helpful and anxious to please.Alhough a can is not essential ,if you wish h to see the inner parts of the island, af car is well worth hiring.We shall most certainly return to this most beautiful house.

Endroit unique

Nous avons séjourné ma femme et moi, à ce gîte du 15 au 28 octobre 2018. L'acceuil de Maria Teresa et de Isabel est tout simplement charmant. L'endroit est inpeccable, propreté des lieux, accessoires disponibles pour la cuisine. La localisation est parfaite pour visiter Madère, près des grandes routes. La boulangerie à quelques mêtres du gîte cuisine d'énormes croissants, de bons pains et petites pizza tout à fait délicieux. L'épicerie à côté offre toutes les denrées nécessaires pour nous dépanner. La vue sur la mer et la montagne est magnifique. L'endroit est très tranquille. Bien entendu les cloches de l'église jouent de la musique mais pas la nuit. alors repos assuré. Graças a Maria Teresa pelas frutas e verduras e até a receita de Boone que ela preparou para nós
