Our home is just moments outside of Manitowoc City limits. 2 mins off I43. This provides guests with privacy in a suburban setting but ease of access to highway and shopping both moments away.
Lake Michigan and great beaches all within a 10-20mins drive. Beach /Hot tub towels provided.

The home offers an open concept floor plan with plenty of space for all in your group. This is the perfect retreat for family getaways, small groups, close friends & traveling business partners. Bedrooms are separated on different corners/levels of home with bathrooms immediately next to or connected to give everyone privacy when needed.
We take cleaning before guest visits very seriously and all touchable surfaces are disinfected before guests arrive. All floor rugs, toss pillows, and ALL beddings, including mattress pads are machine washed on high temp after each guest checkout. Cleaning supplies are left for guests use. Additional cleaning information can be provided when requested.
Guest will access home with pass code to Garage provided evening before arrival. Attached Garage with parking inside available for two vehicles, and up to a dozen motorcycles (yep-we’ve had guests utilize for that 😃 🏍️) Driveway can accommodate an additional 4 cars easily.

Beautiful setting in a small rural neighborhood near Manitowoc. Perfect environment for 6 retired friends who just want to hang out and do a little shopping and exploring. The house was very clean, well stocked and had an open concept which allowed us to easily engage with each other. Owners/hosts were very accommodating and responded quickly to any questions.

This was our first time booking a VRBO and the sure have set the bar high for anything we may book in the future. This property was amazing!! Location was great just outside of town but close enough for grocery shopping and all the trips we made to the softball field for our tournaments. Richard and Cherry have an amazing home and really think about everything with their guests needs. We hope we do another softball tournament again in Manitwoc next year so we can enjoy this home more. Our girls loved the hot tub and basement with pool table to relax in the evenings! Thank you for a FIVE STAR accommodation! We wish we would have took pictures but we were enjoying the moments and forgot all about it!

Family Weekend

My family and in laws (4 adults and 2 kids) stayed here while visiting other family in the area for Easter - it was wonderful and exactly as advertised! The hot tub on the deck with views of the woods with stars above was a definite plus. The kitchen was well stocked with everything was very clean. Our boys (7 and 8) loved the video games, chess set and pool table and running around the front and backyard. The location is very convenient to town as well. Highly recommend to others looking for a place in the area.

Beautiful home located just a few miles outside of town in a small neighborhood with just a handful of other houses. Nice and private. Home is beautiful inside, and was exceptionally clean. The house was well stocked with everything you might need. Great views of the woods from the large expanse of windows, as well as from the multi-level deck. Overall a beautiful home and top-notch in every way.

Beat Vacation Stay Ever

Never have we stayed at a more equiped vacation home than this property. Cherry and Richard thought of everything you could possibly need! Our favorite highlights were the children toys and books, WELL stocked kitchen complete with spices of all kinds and pantry items, toiletry items and all kinds of games including board games, chess, pool table, darts etc. It was a perfect get away with Manitowoc just minutes away but stay the peaceful atmosphere of the country! Thanks again! We can't wait to stay again!

Myself and a group of friends stayed at this home for three days. Richard and Cherry were very responsive any time of day. Terrific for families!

Cherry and Richard thought of everything we might need or want during our stay from high chairs to coupons for nearby pizza. My family loved watching movies downstairs and playing pool and darts. Thanks to all the activities and games downstairs my kids were never bored. The back deck felt private and the tiki torches kept bugs away so we could enjoy our evenings outside. Cherry and Richard thought of everything to make their home welcoming and comfortable.

Overall this was a nice place to stay. What made it memorable was the 20 to 30 minute interaction with two fawns in the backyard. I was sitting in one of chairs with my binoculars trying to identify some of the birds. Two fawns walked in from the left. They stayed for awhile. One of them came to within 10 ft a couple of times to check me out.

Family spring break

Our family, which includes two college aged sons and a teenage daughter, traveled here to gather for spring break. We have stayed in many rental properties, and this is by far one of our favorites. Everything about this home is excellent, from the effortless check in to the great communication! We enjoyed the wonderful open concept and the beautiful sunshine while sipping our morning coffee. Our family really enjoyed gathering in the basement while watching tv on the big screen and spending many hours playing games together. This is a beautiful home in a great area! Cherry was very responsive and very accommodating. You will not be disappointed in this property!

Spring Break Long Weekend

Our family (with two kids 6 and under) loved our stay! You feel like you're out of town but are only minutes from shops and restaurants. The house is beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully prepared for guests. The basement with the projector, game tables, and board games was a great place for everyone to hang out. Directions for the hot tub, fireplace, and electronics were clear and super easy to follow. There were many kid-friendly items available if you needed them (high chairs, toys, books, etc). We also enjoyed visiting several local destinations and also spent a day in nearby Green Bay. Having stayed in numerous rental homes, this house is beyond 5 stars and I would highly recommend it.

Home Sweet Home

We were in WI for a family reunion & stayed at this lovely property for 4 days. From the moment you walk through the front door, you are embraced by coziness, an amazing view, cleanliness,wide open spaces, baskets of treats…everything you could possibly need, other than the clothes in your suitcase. Our 4 teenagers loved the basement & bonded there until the wee hrs of the AM. They loved the big screen movie projector, pool table & darts, just to name a few things! We made some memorable moments, at our home away from home…. The house is full of personal touches but yet somehow they feel like they all belong to you, for a brief moment in time! Kudos to the owners for creating such a delightful atmosphere! Thank you!

Motorcycling Michiganders

We rode from lower peninsula Michigan, with the second leg of our stay being two nights in Manitowoc,WI...a little over an hour from the Harley Davidson Museum in Milwaukee, and 10 minutes from the ferry to take us (and our motorcycles) back to Michigan. This location was perfect, easy expressway access, yet an out-of-town feeling. The house was immaculate, and had everything we needed. We weren’t there much as we did a lot of riding, but it was the perfect spot to retire at the end of the day. The first evening we spent on the deck with a bonfire, the second brought a little rain so we played pool and watched a movie (huge dvd selection) on the projection screen. Three full bathrooms got us ready quickly in the morning and our party of 5 never ran out of hot water. Coffee on the deck watching the sun come up was the perfect way to start the day. Cherry responded immediately to any text questions...and checking and out was a breeze! They didn’t even demand major cleaning, which was a nice surprise!

We personally built our home in 2014, adding all the amenities we love to do as a family. Our home has just the right mix of entertainment (pool table/dart board/games) and relaxing activities (jacuzzi bathtub / 120 inch projection tv / beautiful deck area overlooking woods with portable firepit). Back yard is completely private with 8+ acres of woods to overlook as you drink coffee in the morning on the back patio.
