Big house
The property was run down. Host asked for shoes off on carpet and grandson’s feet were black after a few hours of going barefoot. Bed linen was very worn and there were no pots that were clean enough to cook with. Every time we used the microwave some old food smells went throughout the entire house. If you just need a place to sleep and shower this place is great but hard to feel comfortable on carpet and furniture.

Great family vacation spot!
The home was as advertised with several king-size beds which were perfect for our family of tall people. We would have rated 5 stars but the basement room was not usable for 2 days due to the wet carpet.

Very disappointed
First disappointing stay through Vrbo unfortunately. Booked for 4 nights. The owners do not appear to have checked in to this property and neglect to address concerns when there were issues. On arrival, the carpet of the basement (where 4 of the 10 could sleep) was wet which was signaling a leak from somewhere. There was no response over the phone and an eventual response late at night on the Vrbo app which was to request pictures. Once picture was sent, besides apologizing stated there is a fan and the possibility that someone would come to check on it - did not happen, to which the owner cited Mother's Day but the leak had been there prior and over the weekend. Guests had to sleep in the living room as finding another property was not an option this late (had booked it for them to stay so they could attend wedding nearby). Only offered small partial refund after requesting and then would not even specify amount till later (8 percent of the total which is not enough given 4 sleeping spots of the 10 were in that basement). Owner states was not in their control (but it is their property to take care of) and again cited Mother's day which was irrelevant. No further response from owner after discussing this. Check in information was also given late and had to be reminded to be given on the day of. They also charge additional guest fee even though it lists sleeps 10 and we had less. Overall it seems the owners have "checked out" of caring for the place and their hosting duties.
