It was a lovely spacious home. They had games and puzzles. It was clean. The view of the moon if you're into that is amazing. The owner was helpful and made it easy to check in. Thank you! I'm looking forward to a future stay
This is my second stay at this property. It’s spacious and clean. It gives you the peace of country bon fire setting and it is conveniently located close to stores and cedar point. I always rent houses for trips cause of our family size and this property is one of my favorites. Hosts are wonderful and flexible.
Just like walking into Grandma's house. Very clean and comfortable. Pictures dont do this place justice. Updated kitchen and upstairs bathroom not pictured in listing. Newer AC all throughout the house keeps this place nice and cold. Highly recommend staying here. Plenty of parking for multiple cars or trucks with trailers.

Wonderful property!
We attended a family reunion in Vermilion, Ohio and our stay in this home was perfect for my family. It was very clean, well equipped, quiet, and very comfortable. We are planning on renting again next year!

Thank you for writing the review. It is helpful for me to know that you found my property very satisfactory for your needs. I am looking forward to having you back again
My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. Check-in process was easy and everything was well lined up which made for a really stress-free vacation. Great backyard view and very peaceful. Also, 25ish minutes to Cedar Point which was very convenient for my family. I would definitely stay here again!
The home was in a great location and had plenty of space. We were in town for a wrestling tournament so the house served as a central hub for the team and parents to grill out and play football in the large yard. We have no complaints.

Thank you for your kind words. Have a nice rest of the summer.
Everything about this rental experience was great. The house is very nice and the communication with the property manager was great. I would highly recommend.
Our stay here was great. We were in town for a family trip to Cedar Point and this place was perfect for our family. Plenty of space, beds were great. Pics in listing should be updated as rooms have since been updated and the pictures don't do it justice! It's close to the highway, but private enough to enjoy coffee in backyard and feel like you're in the middle of nowhere. Will definitely say again!
The setting was quiet -much nicer than a noisy hotel. It was clean and the location was only 15 minutes from the Summit racetrack. This was my first time staying at a rental house. No more hotels for me.
This house was perfect. Getting in contact with the host was simple and they were very responsive. It was clean and nice. Comfortable. Easy to find. A short distance from the kalahari convention center we were going to. I Definitely recommend this property!
Everything was as advertised. We traveled to the area for the solar eclipse. Plenty of room for our group of 6. Kids enjoyed playing in the small space out back. We didn't do much cooking in the kitchen, but it would have been stocked enough for making simple meals. Enjoyed pizza a few minutes drive away in Milan and eclipse viewing/shops in nearby Norwalk.

Perfect house and location!
This farmhouse was perfect for our group. It was 30 minutes from Cedar Point Amusement Park, close to the beach and only an hour to the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame. If you go to the beach stop at Berardi’s for dinner, it was amazing! The people in the town of Milan were friendly. If you need to know the quickest way to get anywhere ask Jim. He was very helpful. We left a pillow at the Farmhouse and Pat was sweet enough to call me and offered to mail it to me. The only negative was that the house only had one tv. This farmhouse is definitely worth staying at!

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. It really helps others know your reaction and views about the property and area. I am glad my property worked for your needs
Very cute farm house, exactly what we expected! Large peaceful property. Close to turnpike but noise not an issue. Large rooms, beds were comfortable. Close to downtown Milan. Well maintained. Wish they had a smart tv to sign in for netflix or something, because the cable provider was limiting channels and alot of the dvds were scratched and didnt play. But overall it was very quaint, clean, and nice to be in. Beautiful area, easy to relax there. I would definitely stay here again with my family. They also were very sweet when we lost track of time while out with family and we were alittle late on our checkout! :)

The house was very conveniently located close to the Summit racetrack and was in a beautiful and secluded area which was appreciated. The water pressure and air conditioning also worked great (especially for a group of 5 of us), and overall we had a nice stay…..however, this was my first time staying in whole house and it was not what I was expecting in terms of cleanliness. It had been cleaned, but it was very superficial. There was food debris in the carpet and under the couch cushions, bits of food in the burners on the oven, hair and dust along most the baseboards, and there was a decent amount of ants in the kitchen. If the host employed a deep cleaning service or a better cleaner this would be a stellar location.
There were also very few linens/towels available to use (that may be normal for house rentals?) so make sure to bring your own towels and pillows if it’s not.
My daughter got married and I wanted to stay somewhere close because I would be back and forth Friday through Sunday. Some of my closest girlfriends stayed with me and we had such a nice stay. The house was so clean and cozy. I would definitely stay again. Also the man who let us in was such a sweet man.

About the host
Hosted by Jo Huber
I am a retired school teacher. I am the fourth generation owner of the property. The house was built in 1849 and has had many changes made to it since that time. My father was a farmer and I worked on the farm until I graduated from college. We specialized in growing sweet corn but now raise soy beans, wheat, and field corn.
Why they chose this property
The property has special meaning to me since it is where I grew up. It is in a safe, quiet location in the country, but close enough to towns to grocery shop, and buy most anything you would want. Being within 5 miles of Lake Erie is great because of the many activities the Lake area offers.
What makes this property unique
This nine room house is very clean which allows families to spread out during their stay. The kitchen is modern with dishwasher, microwave, and is well equipped. Outside is a patio, chairs, charcoal grill, and fire pit. The backyard is very large for children or others to play in. The area is safe and being in the country it is surrounded by farmland and it is quiet.
