This bright and airy cottage is located on Smith Cove, a quiet part of Lake Winnipesaukee. Enjoy cathedral ceiling, ceiling fan, hardwood floors, area rug, and lakefront location steps away from a private beach.

Your home away from home has a two bedrooms, TV, kitchen with full size range and refrigerator and private bath with tub and shower. One bedroom has a queen bed, one has a full bed with lake view and there is a full-size sofa bed in the living room for additional bedding. linens,towels,toiletries not provided dock not included

A pet may be allowed with prior approval from the owner for a nightly fee of $25.00.

Love the private beach - quiet and peaceful area at no-wake Smith Cove. Complete with beach chairs and chaise. Close to Bank of NH Pavillion, Sawyer’s and Ellacoya Barn and Grille. Ceiling fan and AC kept us cool.

Home away from home

this time of year is the start of a busy summer, especially since Bike Week was extended for it's 100th anniversary. Suprisingly, the entire week was very peaceful. The other visitors in the area were very friendly as well. The owners don't bother you on a daily basis. For the most part, they let you know they are there if you need anything, and they are easy to contact if necessary. I loved sitting on the newly built deck to have my morning coffee and do some work before the heat increased. Good thing for air conditioning. Nonetheless, the private beach was my favorite part. Sitting on the dock and watching the boats go by was my second favorite. I will definitely be contacting Bob and his wife again to stay. It was the long awaited relaxations since COVID hit, that I needed to get back into reality.

PROS:It’s a nice cottage, in a nice area. Beach is a short walk. Neighborhood quiet. There is a lot of fun things to do nearby and there is a nice restaurant within walking distance with great views of the lake.CONS: The mattresses on the beds were very firm and beds were squeaky and the pullout couch had a bent frame and was impossible to sleep on. Nobody got a decent nights sleep. I left 3 days early because I was exhausted and sore and couldn’t take another night. It’s says it has AC, it has a unit in master which blew out musty air and only provided cooling to the rest of the cottage if the door was left open.The doors have latch locks and we had a small child my son worried she would lock door and there was no way to get in.The beach is small and surrounded by boats on the right on the left. I wish I had been made aware of these issues before I paid so much for my Vrbo trip.

Superior location!

Bob, the owner, was fantastic. No issues at all. Location is amazing, quiet and clean, great place to enjoy our boat and motorcycles.

Owners Bob and Maria Ruggiero, purchased this lakefront property on Smith Cove in the 1990s and renovated the Victorian into a 10-room inn. Additional accommodations are available to inn guests in the Lighthouse and Little House on the Cove. They have hosted many guests looking for a getaway to enjoy their quiet and lovely lakefront location and casual, relaxing atmosphere. During the last 20+ years, they have built their own home and purchased neighboring cottages to provide vacation rentals to those looking for more privacy and room to relax during longer stays.

This Smith Cove vacation rental is located on a quiet part of New Hampshire's largest lake where boat speeds are limited to allow for lakefront relaxation. The surrounding grounds are owned by the cottage owner and are kept in immaculate condition. This cottage is located just minutes from Bank of NH Pavilion and Weirs Beach attractions and restaurants.
