Great location, host was very accommodating to our requests, and we look forward to staying again! We had our dog with us, and it was a perfect place and location to bring a pet.
This cabin was exactly what we were looking for! It’s close to the main stretch of Gatlinburg as well as to the entrance to the Smokies. While at the house, our kids enjoyed playing the arcade games and we enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. The cabin appears as pictured, was clean, and the host was very responsive, calling us within minutes when we needed to reach out one time. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others as well!
Host offered guest full refund before check in, due to incoming snow. Guest declined. Guest stayed 2 of 4 days; told host early departure necessitated by incoming snow. Guest asked for partial refund due to forgoing staying the last two nights. Guest wrote “Thank you so much we enjoyed your cabin it was beautiful!!! The only thing I will say is the hot tub had a mildew smell just wanted to let you know!“ Housekeeper investigated during the clean immediately after guest departure. Housekeeper documented no mildew smell present after guest departure; documented by photograph an unknown substance in the water that clouded the water and compromised the effectiveness of the filters, not present in the fresh water in hot tub at check ins.
The host was so very accommodating and very responsive! Everything was clean and stocked well. Such a cute little space for two or a family of four. We will be back!
The cleanliness was amazing! We loved every part of our stay and the host was great with details and communication! The only thing that might make the stay a little better is more comfortable couches. We loved it!

Thank you for the review and for the advice. Guests tend to be rough on the furniture. The only couches that last are commercial grade. The mattresses are top of the line plush though!
Had an amazing time staying at Gail's cabin in the woods. Clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. Hot tub was clean and enjoyed by the whole family.
The cabin was great, so clean and inviting…. nicely furnished, had everything we needed.. fireplace was amazing. Gail sent messages and responded very quickly to questions and provided more than enough information for us before and during our stay… would love to stay here again in the future!
Cabin was absolutely perfect! Comfortable, CLEAN, and close to everything. Easy to get to and Gail was so accommodating every step of the way. She gave helpful tips and made our stay a breeze. Will absolutely stay here again and would recommend 100%!

I appreciate you Jessica! Thank you for this great review and for taking such good care of the cabin!
We absolutely loved this cabin! It’s one of the nicest ones we have stayed in. There is a great peace and calm that we found while staying there. It is conveniently located but away from the hustle and bustle. Our little boy loved the upstairs loft area and called it his little living room. We look forward to staying in this cabin next year! It’s definitely a home away from home!
We had a great stay at the cabin, it was very close to Rocky top sports Arena, where our daughter was playing volleyball, super clean and provided everything we needed during our stay! The host was very accommodating and responsive, and we would highly recommend this cabin!
Nice cleal little property. WIFI worked well. Hot tub was very clean & pool is nice and close.

About the host
Hosted by Gail DeBusk
I am a life-long resident of middle Tennessee. I have lived within 50 miles of Nashville all my life. (But, I escape to Gatlinburg every chance that I get!) I grew up on a dairy farm--my dad and brother still milk cows. I am a former United States Postal Service city letter carrier, have taught math for 26 years, and currently teach math in a public high school. I have five grown children and five grandchildren. I share my home with a sweet tiny pug/Boston terrier mix.
Why they chose this property
My husband bought this property in 2016. We vacationed here many times in 2016 and 2017. He passed away in November of 2017. I love the cabin because it is such a cozy, special place for me, full of great memories and new ones that are made each time that I visit! During the GSMNP closure during COVID in 2020, I spent time at the cabin and updated just about everything in the cabin. Today, it is welcoming, immaculate and waiting for guests to enjoy!
What makes this property unique
I love how close the cabin is to Gatlinburg! Less than four miles away. Guests love the serenity of the quiet neighborhood yet delight in the proximity to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, Rocky Top Sports Complex, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and all the attractions and great food in the area.
There is an awesome little grocery store about 2 miles away. The cabin has a good view of Mt. Leconte with great roads that are maintained by the resort when it snows. A pool was installed just in front of the cabin :) There is a pavillion, playground, and basketball goal there too. This cabin is ideal for honeymooners, a small family, two couples with several children, or for any group of 4-6 who would like to get away and stay in the mountains!
