Wish there was a number to call that put you in touch with someone who knows the pirouette first hand not just a vrbo 800 #. Also, the suite was poorly cleaned. Sandwich above the cabinet my husband spotted from across the room, splatters on the wall and clothing that was not ours that was under the bed.

Lovely Mountain Condo

The South Lodge and Condo is in a great location to all at Mt. Hood. Restaurants, shops, Timberline, Meadows and Ski Bowl for skiing, snow boarding. The Lodge itself is great for families, lots of room, great kitchen and very clean. We would use again forsure.

Beautiful and RELAXING

I loved the sauna, hot tub, and the big comfortable beds here. I got injured before coming up to the mountain, so I couldn't snowboard, but my son and I cooked a bunch of food and used the facilities the whole weekend. It was honestly one of the best trips I've had in a while, and I think it's because the kitchen is really great for cooking, and it's just a really well-run property.

Quiet family getaway

The location is great: easy access to trails for snowshoeing & sledding hills as well as close proximity to town for a couple things we forgot to bring. Perfect layout for our 2 young grandkids with everything on one level & an open concept living space. Very clean, comfortable furniture & beds. The kitchen was well equipped although it needs one larger soup/stew pot. Views of Mt Hood from the living area & master are exceptional!!

Family trip

The location, and grand lodges are a nice layout. Great pool area. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and lack of attention to detail by the management company, ruined it for us. I tried contacting management to have them clean or at least vacuum the place but there was no success in that. With all the fees that Vacasa charges, which equals to about 600 dollars, this place needs to be emaculate. Hope they step up their customer service and attention to detail.

Great location and amenities!

Pros: perfect space for parents, grandparents, and small children all together. Kitchen was well-equipped, couch was comfortable. Pool/hot tub were close. Nearby sledding hill was great. Location is great. On-site manager was quite responsive and helpful when needed.Cons: check-in code didn't work and took a bit to sort out (two separate phone calls), dishwasher was broken, pool info wasn't provided and had to ask (another phone call). All annoying but manageable hiccups. Did ask for complimentary late check-out given the above and was given the runaround and eventually just told no. A little disappointing.Overall, however, great space and great location and would stay here again!

Nice rental unit but…

The unit is nice but they were not ready for us at 4pm. We had to wait and hour or two before we could unload. The cable box in the primary bedroom did not work and no one tried to remedy the situation until about 15 hours before our trip was over. No trash bags or laundry detergent and the kitchen didn’t have some of the basic utensils you would expect at a rental unit. Other than that, the place was nice and very convenient to Timberline Ski Resort.

Loved the great size of the place, comfy to spread out after a long day of skiing. Cozy fireplaces and exactly as pictured on site. (Only side note is pool/hottub are a decent walk up the street).

So many problems

Don't get me wrong. My family and I did have a fun time in Government Camp. But this unit and facility are a let down. If you have young kids, it is not a great place for them to be able to just go outside and play. It was a 2 star hotel. Here's a list of issues that we experienced.1. kitchen was not stocked well to prepare meals for 4 adults and 2 kids. 2. Tv in master and front-room did not work. 3. Internet did not work. Therefore, no electronic entertain. 4. Rug smelled like dog piss 5. Grandson cut his hand on glass that someone had broken in pool. We did call this in and they were quick to respond. However, we saw NO management oversight in the area at all. 6. pool / jacuzzi is in different building, which we were not informed about until I called the first night to get the security code. 7. The heat was horrible. We turned off the heaters (37 degrees outside) and the internal temperature was still up to 75. 8. The interior was shabby with broken window shades, just overall shabby furniture. 9. The underground parking had garbage piled up 10 feet high in one of the parking stalls and it really smelled. 10. We received discount information from Collins lake too late to take advantage of. Like I said, we did have a good time and Vacasa is reimbursing us a little bit. But they indicated that I should have contacted them earlier on all the issues. However, I didn't want to spend my vacation on the phone complaining. I finally did call at the end as it was all too much.

Very responsive management. Had issue with access - and there was a back-up lockbox with key. Also previous guests had messed with cables for TV/DVD/Direct TV - someone came out within 20 mins and fixed it for us. Very impressed with their team. Would stay in this unit again.

Absolutely beautiful space to spend your time off Mount Hood! Just a short walk to the local bar and grills. The indoor parking was a major plus as it’s easy to make one trip to bring your luggage in and out. Great costumer service and overall experience.

It was a great place was clean but housekeeping did pay attention to detail.

Property was great, clean. However there were towels and sheets left in the dryer. And starbursts left onto if the refrigerator. Some coins left in drawers. In Covid-19 times it made me question how sanitized The place was. But we had a great time.

Really nice condo with a fantastic layout. Comfortable, clean and cozy. There were 7 of us, 4 adults and 3 children and it was a perfect space for all of us. The kitchen was really nice to cook in. Although, it could use a large pot to boil noodles in. I made spaghetti and there are only two small pots. Otherwise, the kitchen is well stocked. The resort is beautiful with very nice amenities. We love staying at Collins Lake and we will definitely stay at this condo again.

Perfect getaway

Stayed at this property with our friends and our kids! Great place, beautiful views, plenty of room for two families, close to tubing and hiking, walking distance to the cute village. Would recommend definitely.

We loved waking up to a view of Mt Hood every morning! The place was perfect for two families with balcony and four TV sets. Kitchen was equip with everything we needed to prepare our meals and the accommodations were modern, clean and in good working condition.
