Private motel room with your own private entrance and bathroom. Explore the Eastern Sierras using The Historic West Walker Motel as your base. Numerous outdoor activities available include swimming crystal clear waters, bathing in hot springs, fishing, rafting ++.

Located in the eastern foothills of the Sierra Mountains, BBQ , free WiFi, cable TV and parking for all size vehicles. Walk across the street to Mntn View BBQ, enjoy breakfast at Sweet Water Cafe, or grab a burger at Walker Burger!

This is our standard double room with two full beds and an en suite bath. Rooms include a coffee machine. Select rooms include a kitchenette with cutlery. A microwave and a refrigerator.

Perfect launch point

Great for a launching point to the various fishing and exploring spots for the area. The room was cozy but clean and had everything needed for what we were looking for.

Beautiful area

The space was a comfortable home base with tasty eats near by for our trip to the area that includes hiking, hot springing, and gawking at the natural beauty of the area. Only about 20-30 minutes to Bridgeport.

About the owner: My wife Erika and I grew up I the Midwest, she is from northern Minnesota and I'm from North Dakota, we both love to travel and we've visited numerous countries and states with our family. We enjoy camping and adventuring to see and experience different cultures. We have three daughters, Krimzen, Brooklyn, Regan, and one son, Crew.

Why they chose this property

We make annual trips to Yosemite, Kings Canyon, Sequoia, and Tahoe, we've made so many great memories we were honored to have the chance to assist in the operation of this historic motel along with the chance to help other families create similar memories.

We love this 1940's single story motel and our kids love in the nearby lakes and Rivers. We chose this motel because of it's proximity to so many great attractions in the Easter Sierras and for it's wonderful homey feel.
