Nice place- needs a little more detailing
The cabin was nice. The large open living room area overlooking the great Mountain View was the best! There were bugs inside the cabin (multiple types) , minimal kitchen supplies, and we couldn’t understand why there was no master closet? The master mattress also needs to be replaced very worn and not easy to sleep on.

Our Adult Family had a Very Nice Stay
Pros: Awesome view, very secluded so privacy is yours! Plenty of space. Great porches and fireplace. Everything you need is provided in kitchen (you may want to check dishes for cleanliness before using). Fun at the creek on property, we drove to it as it is by start of driveway. Would need to be in super shape to walk it. Cons: Pillows need replacing. Bring your own hair dryer. No closet for your hang up clothes in Master Bedroom. Only TV is in basement which is too bad as you can not enjoy the view while watching a movie. Grills are charcoal and in need of replacement (gas grill would be great). BIG Problem: You have to take your trash to the rental office 30 minutes away. If you stay for a week like we did with 4 people, that is a lot of trash. It appeared that they just replaced the deck. Someone should have checked the bottom porch for screws as we found many screws on it. If you bring small children, you will need to watch them closely when outside as beyond the rock wall on bottom porch is a big drop off. Driveway is steep but we had a 2wd Pickup which was fine. Don't be fooled by 'Gift Bag' upon available. It is your starter pack of paper products and soap. There are 3 bathrooms - one on each floor. There are 2 other bedrooms in basement but can not use as (no egress). Dollar General is 5 miles and Walmart about 10 miles. Not much is in immediate area but that's what we were looking for. One Hour to Ashville, 20 minutes to Linville Falls.

It is a beautiful place!
I love the cabin architecture. But more than that the outdoor nature, no neighbors only trees. My favorite place was the deck facing the mountains. From there, I could have a cup of coffee and enjoy the view- the sun rising in the mornings and the moon rising at night. My kid's favorite place was the livingroom bc of the fireplace. Every night they enjoyed the smell and the sounds of the wood burning (I enjoyed that too). They also had a lot of fun driving up and down the driveway. It really feels like you're going up to heaven. I wish the cleaners had vacuumed the house better. It's a pet-friendly place, and it was dogs' fur all love the place. I don't have dogs, and I don't like to have furs stuck on my clothes. I had the choice to call the clean service and let them know, but I chose just to enjoy the stay and pretended not to notice the furs. We had a great time!
