This stay was just ok. The house was in need of attention (lightbulbs out, floors dusty, hot tub frozen over- main reason for booking this specific home, downstairs was VERY cold while upstairs was hot, rotten picnic table). What was a bit more concerning is the reach out I made about the hot tub, which got a suggested response on how to fix it, and then when I sent another message the day after we checked in, I only received automated messages from the property company; definitely not a personal touch. The house was in a beautiful location but the instructions to the house (it’s up a steep hill) weren’t welcoming and almost like they were doing you a favor. Won’t book this house again.
Great views from this home. Plenty of entertainment with the hot tub, foosball, ping pong table, TV, Internet and fire pit! We had a slight issue with the refrigerator door not closing all the way but we eventually figured out how to use it (it had a broken door flap that we had to manually close) but everything else was perfect. Close enough to all the major attractions such as Linville falls. We will visit again, thank you!
The house was off the beaten path, which was just what we were looking for and the views were breathtaking! We had an amazing time and would certainly stay here again.
Great cabin with a beautiful view! We enjoyed our stay and loved all the snow we got!! Melissa was great at communicating. Would definitely stay here again!!
This place has a 270 degree view! Close to great hiking and hot tub after! Recommend the Switzerland Inn for dinner! Property management team was very responsive!
Wonderful spot for our 3 generation family trip. We were comfortable with no issues. Watching the sunsets, nightly fires, and relaxing times on the porch enjoying the spectacular view were high points
We traveled with friends and kids for a 5 day stay. The views are incredible and make the drive up the mountain worth it. Overall we had a great time. The house could use some fresh paint and linens but, none of this hindered our stay.
Overall very nice place but had issues with water the first day and issues with hot tub the whole time. If you don’t have a 4 wheel drive better get some speed to get up the hill to the place but the view is worth it!
The house was wonderful. Everything was comfy and easy to use and locate. The hot tub was nice and hot. The kids really enjoyed playing in the basement. And to say the view was breathtaking would be an understatement! I would eagerly stay here again.
This is the perfect escape with the best views you could get. It's about 30min to the nearest town, they have games and some books available along with the other amenities. The management team responded quickly and were so helpful when we had questions. We had such a great time even though we had to cut it short due to a family emergency.
Views were unmatched to any other rental. Cabin was beautiful. Property management company was attentive when minor issue came up and were easy to reach. Loft upstairs was very comfortable and plenty of space. The porch and hot tub with the views were great. The WiFi was weak most of the day and took forever to load but we were here for vacation not work so it didn’t matter. I’d recommend this cabin again!
