You will enjoy the quiet, tranquility, fresh air and sounds of the jungle on this property.

Wake up in the morning to the wild calls of the howler monkeys, parrots, toucans, macaws and hawks. These are a few of the jungle sights and sounds that can be part of your every day.

Take a stroll on the property’s interior road, hike jungle foot trails, or explore on your own the 43 acres and see the wonderful things nature offers for birds, animals, insects and more, just enjoy Nature!

Bird watching is incredible with their visits and songs throughout the day. Monkey’s, the occasional sloth sightings and other beautiful animals.

You’ll be in the middle of one of the most ecologically diverse places in the world.

Experience activities and nearby attractions such as waterfalls, beaches, parks, kayaking, snorkeling, scuba diving, fishing, ATV tours, zip lines, whale watching, gyms, grocery, restaurants, coffee shops, banks, gas stations, business center and more.

Room is equipped with all linens, soaps, shampoo / conditioner, and a coffee maker. Meals are available for purchase and served in the main house with advance notice.

A 4x4 vehicle is recommended. The public road is posted as 4x4 only.

Feel secure with gated entrance and 24/7 caretaker on premises.

We offer:

Awesome veiw.

Amazing property with lots of wildlife . You do need 4 wheel drive for main road and property. Once there so many birds and monkeys and other animals. Just a short drive to town also . Owners are very nice people.

Fantastic hosts and amazing location and view!

This is my second stay at this house and it is absolutley an amazing place. I am sure we will be back for a third time. Lori is a fantastic host, anything I needed she was happy to help. The view is incredible, we were surrounded by beautiful toucans and monkeys and the location was close to everything we needed..we can't wait to return! Thank you so much!!

Neat spot with Mountain View’s.

Really cool property nice and quiet, secure, room was modern indoor/outdoor bungalow. With cool screened in upper wall area in the high ceiling. Very cool looking place. Great view from the driveway, Need 4x4 to get to the I feel, was very rainy while we were there and glad we had a Suzuki Jimny for the mountain roads in Costa Rica.

Beautiful Stay in Ballena

My friend and I stayed here on this gorgeous mountaintop gorgeous location for 4 nights. The owners, Lori & Bobby were fantastic hosts welcoming us as we arrived and made us feel at home. Once there we upgraded to the main house with the pool and ocean view. Well worth it! You must have 4 wheel drive! As you do for most places in Costa Rica. ;) Thank you for all your information and sharing all the beautiful birds and wildlife with us.

Phenomenal hosts and room

I can’t say enough about Lori and Bob, but I’ll try. After a very rough start thanks to car rental mishap, They made me feel so welcomed. The room is beautiful and the shower is to die for! It’s right up the hill from a ton of amazing restaurants. I got recs from Lori and they were perfect. There are 2 super cool trails on the property that really give you a sense of being in the jungle. And the view? Spectacular! You can see the left of whales tail on low tide and wonderful sunset. Not only did I enjoy my stay, I left feeling like I made friends I’ll see again. Too bad the stars only go to 5. 🙂.
