About this property

This cute little 2 bedroom studio above the garage features an open floor plan living room, dining area and kitchen. Large master bedroom area with Queen bed. Second bedroom with bunk bed that has full (bottom) and twin (top). The couch in the living room also pulls out to a queen. It's located on the same property as our home situated on a beautiful 1/2 acre parcel in the country in close proximity to the North Beach area, hot springs, Minnetonka Caves and just a short drive from Montpellier. Bear Lake staycation

We come up to Bear Lake once a year to boat, paddle board and enjoy the food ( especially the shakes). We really enjoyed this property. It's close to North Beach and not to far from Garden City. Clean, quaint, and home. We only had 3 stay this time, but usually 5-7. Thanks

Summer getaway

This was the perfect place for our quick getaway to Bear Lake. House was clean and well maintained. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place, great location!

Such a great place to stay, so cute, and perfect for us and our kids. We went for a family reunion so location was perfect! We definitely will come back and stay here!

Great little getaway

Cute little property. So close to North Beach which was awesome. So cutely decorated and fit our family perfect. Everything we needed for our stay. The host was prompt in replying when I had a question. The kitchen was stocked with supplies for cooking. Plenty of room to sleep for our family of 6 and definitely room for more if needed. I can see how it could get hot in the summer with no AC, but we came on cool weekend and it was perfect.

Whether its boating, relaxing, snowmobiling or just getting away, we love every minute up there. We are hoping to help create fun memories for your family that you will never forget.

Why they chose this property

This property is unique. It's located in the quiet neighborhood of St. Charles off the beaten path from all the tourists. You will enjoy a quiet and private stay on a beautiful 1/2 acre property. It is close to Montpellier for "big" shopping and movies in the quaint theater there. We are only 4 miles from North Beach and close to the hot springs, Minnetonka Caves, and hiking up to Bloomington Lake.

What makes this property unique

This 2 bedroom guest house is above the garage on the same property (1/2 acre) where our 3 bedroom house is located (adjacent and also on VRBO). It has an oversized master bedroom with plenty of space, a second bedroom with a bunkbed that has full size on bottom and twin on top, and a pull down couch in the living room for extra space. The open living room, kitchen and dining room has a great view and vaulted ceilings. There is one bathroom with tub and shower. You will have access to a washer and drawer located in the garage downstairs. Steep access to the space via stairs. There is no air conditioning in the home. There are ceiling fans in the rooms. The temperature in St. Charles averages between a high of 87 during the day and 52 at night during the summer. Temperature in the home is regulated by closing the windows and blinds during the day, and opening windows in the evening and turning on the fans. Parking is outside near the building on the circular driveway or in front of the two car garage on the cement. Access to the 2 car garage is not available as that is our private storage space and houses the lawn mower etc.
